If I'm correct the pickaxe thing will only work if they're a single block. (As in, their own block ID) Maybe you shouldn't need a pickaxe to pick up any slabs, because the reason slabs are even used in real life is because they're easy to place and move again.

Minecraft is an anomaly. We had so many bullshit subforums that last a month and then no-one cares about. Minecraft is here for another year at least.

Why did notch have to add ambient occlusion? It breaks MrMMods which has superior AO and better grass and the minimap and SMChat

The AI in MrMessiah's mod was too much. It made single holes too dark. He'll have a new version of his mod out soon.

It's now up to Mojang if they want to update it or not, MrMessiah gave it to Jens to officially put into Minecraft.

So, since he implemented better light into the game, does that mean we'll never get better grass again? Also waiting for the GLSL shaders to be updated. I want those "toon" outlines.
