Personally, I feel like the skins are all internally consistent. I don't think we have anything too ridiculous on the skins side, and it's hardly liked we've chiselled the designs in marble tablets and said that they can't be changed. I understand some of the criticisms, but as far as the teams being unbalanced - we will be playtesting it extensively and adapting the game through both the Alpha and Beta phases.

And with the time period the entire idea is just knocked down.

More that they just have glowing red eyes because they're evil, similar to Sauron or something along those lines. We will continue to develop the skins though (note - we may not continue to develop the skins)

Guys I'm terrible at aesthetics for my buildings. They are basically just wooden/stone blocks sometimes with a mixture of both. I want them to look more livable. How do you recommend I do this?

For things like the window at the very top, don't worry about making it round, use a single glass block. And for the back, use your imagination or try and make a good guess, because chances are the front may repeat in the back.

YET. [spoil]4th faction is going to be a time travelling army who have come back in time to assassinate all of the leaders and establish their own world order[/spoil] EDIT: Fuck it I don't know how to get spoiler tags to work.
seriously john take a chill pill we want it to look good and have the story correlate with it. we want to make everything look nice while not putting a massive constraint on everything for the user

How do you recommend I do this?[/QUOTE] The way I found buildings I liked was by experimenting by placing different types of blocks around each other and crap until I found a few different styles that looked good. Just try new stuff and eventually you'll find awesome designs.

One thing is, don't use that many torches, if you do, hide them under wooden stairs where light shines through and disguise the stairs as chairs. Or you can take a nice trip into the Nether and gather some lightstone, but that's tedious as fuck.
