ITT state when you bought minecraft I bought it around 6 weeks before survival came out [editline]3rd March 2011[/editline] played since around 12 weeks before it came out

Dug down to the last 20 blocks to search for some diamond. I hit a cave system so I began my endeavour, chucked a torch down so I'd know where my exit was and headed towards the glowing lava in this distance. I spent way over an hour making my way through snaking tunnels, blocking water and lava flows. In the end I ran out of pickaxes with no diamond, I was disappointed and made my way back. Then. As I approached the torch I laid to symbolise the exit, I realised it was on top of a diamond ore. God damn it.
