It's the fact that if I was to build a castle, then the roof of the castle would be perfectly fine. There's no atmosphere, I loved it when you could have a dedicated snow world, when it would snow constantly and if you wanted to keep your crops you had to build over them and get them light from torches e.t.c. The snow biome seems to just be a miserable failure to me.

Is it me, or does the new launcher fuck up connecting to the server a lot?

My brother is in favour of the lighting, and doesn't see why anyone would turn it off :v: He still ain't gonna play though :v:
It's a bit more practical to use the old lighting because you can see where you need to put torches easier, but I use the new one because it looks great.
