Liking the cobblestone and the sand, the dirt seems to have too many colours going on. Tone down the lighter shades of brown to darker shades.

It's a "green monster trap" of sorts. No interfering with nature required.

I looked inside of the spawner and it's a skeleton spawner. All the precious arrows would drop into the lava, which would not be any good.

Speaking of which, this is on the seed "chezhead", and is simply a couple paces away from the forest at 0,0. There's a couple caves beneath the plains there, and they are HUGE.
