Ugh, ever since this update, the game is blackscreening randomly, no fixes work from what I can tell.

What texture pack, it's pretty nice looking.
I have a branch mineshaft that takes roughly 2 minutes to run the entire length of one way. I used an entire diamond pickaxe. The best part? I got enough diamond for 4 more diamond pickaxes.

Oh god oh fuck Minecraft is frozen on the pause menu and I can't save it, I spent like 2 hours digging out a cave, I can't lose all that fucking work oh god.
Oh god now it's frozen at the end of saving chunks.

Oh thank god it's working again.
Minecraft is so laggy for me. I have an Ati HD 5770 and it runs very slow. 20-30 fps on the surface and 40 underground. even with very low graphics it still has horrible frame rate. Is there anything I can do to speed it up? I feel that this shouldn't be happening. Is there anything important in the graphics card that I should enable? I also have 4 cores and a very good computer.
Thanks to movecraft we're now able to give hot air balloon tours on Ventlegille

What HDD are you running Minecraft on? When I was using my old 5400RPM HDD Minecraft was rather laggy, but since I installed a new one with 7200RPM it's been so much better.

I like how fire now only leaves a few logs spread across a field on the ground, instead of floating ones everywhere
