I think I'm gonna make a big quarry at some point, basically digging an inverted pyramid into the ground, I will enslave mobs and force them to dig for one seed a week.

So I ran CCleaner and defragged the HD on this laptop, now Minecraft runs perfectly. :wtc:

Whats with Hangover's servers? It wont work for me, says "unknown host: s1.drunkenminers.com" I was whitelisted on the server a couple updates ago, but I didn't really play since the game entered beta. But why does it say Unknown Host?

Minecraft has started to lag really bad lately. Before it ran smoothly at 30fps, but now that barely is 10fps if I turn off the new lighting. I've tried setting the javaw.exe run on only one CPU core and set it to high priority, but nothing helps. Only setting down render distance to short and fast graphics. I don't want the game to be unplayble and look really shitty. Is there anything I could do?

Started a world, spawned in a border between snow forest and forest (My Sweet Insanity is the seed if anyone interested). Punched a tree, collected some logs, made them into wood and made a workbench. And I see - 24 wood blocks in top left corner in inventory and one workbench in the first weapon slot. I said out loud "Oh yeaahhh" like I was entering a really hot bath and got a fucking boner looking at that clean inventory.
