They do work. Use one from the wiki, omgjizzfacelol, and go into the hole next to where you spawn. Dig down.

No the spawns just change so you are in the same world. For me anyway.
Anyway, type in Seed 100,000,000 (Yes exactly that) It's awesome!
Is there actually a mod that makes it possible to sleep at day time, so you can go straight to night? :v:

Anyone got a good server to play on? The one I normally go on was taken down for the night due to overheating, it still isn't back up.

Sorry if this is late but did Notch leave some dev code in? I spawn with 64 beds, 64 torches and some diamond tools.
I can't use the browser version anymore :argh: It just goes to a black square where Minecraft should be and then crashes my browser! :argh:

That was fixed last night shortly after he updated, because he left some of the testing tools in.
The only problem with the new lighting system is that it cuts away 20FPS. There should be a slider to adjust the distance when it starts turning from smooth lighting into cheap lighting.

When you try to sleep in a bed which light level is too much(it's near torch/lava) skeleton will be spawned next to you.
So I sleep in the dark?
