The only reason for a mob to spawn when you go to bed is if it has a path to that bed. For example, leaving a door to a dark cave or the outside open.
You can actually sleep outside safely by building a 3 block high tower, then a bed on top, then removing the blocks.

Guys, even though I'm a pussy and play on peaceful, when I sleep for the night, the monsters don't do anything right? They aren't like "generated" through the night? Because I don't want to wake up to a randomly generated creeper hole in the side of my house.

Pretty sure some are generated, but as long as you're in a safe space to sleep everything should be okay.

Have you installed any mods that may conflict with the update process?
Have you tried deleting your .minecraft folder?
Does the browser version work for you?
