Just make one of each, level them a few levels, and see which you enjoy the most, and also consider what you want to do endgame, dps, tank or healer. To me, the fun of playing a class is the most important aspect in this came, if you don't enjoy your class, you'll get bored, if you love it...you won't see much apart from your monitor for the next few weeks/months. :) Good Luck, and enjoy the game.
I've just decided to start WoW again and I've been tore between 3 classes Mage,Paladin, and hunter. Once I decide on one I think oh that would be better so I think it would be best for you to decide.
Leveling a mage requires the ability to take the least amount of damage as possible. You're a mage, you don't have that much health. You have to be active and have quick reactions. Frost is good for this because it has good utility (frost/ice armor, frost nova) and spells like frostbolt with cheap mana costs. Paladin isn't very defined. Just do damage, honestly. Hunter is pet maintenance. Have your pet dealing with the mobs while you support it. This may take more time, but is a unique class to play. I've leveled one to 80 and I found it a tedious project, but a lot of fun at the same time. But don't limit your options! Druids have a variety of play styles to change in and out of. Warriors are blood craving combatants that take loads of damage. Warlocks piss people off >.>
paladin power!paladin power! But seriously? id have never picked it,as much as i love it yeh? i see every other class as cooler
Somebody told me nobody would take hunters into parties at higher levels. Is this true?
This was in BC. They were like the DK of WotLK back then. Things I hate: Blood DK tank in DPS gear says he can totally Tank this and then die within a few blows off the enemys. Ranged/Caster DPS that pulls the mobbs for the Warrior killing himself and blames me(Holy Paladin)
First point- ungeared blood tanks can tank most norm instances till 80. Second- its annoying but the warrior should react in time to pull the mobs of him. Then warn him about it afterwards and kick him if he carrys on.
*gibberish about hunters in previous quote* This was in BC. They were like the DK of WotLK back then.
What?! DK's were utterly overpowered when they were first released as they were originally. Hunter's werent, during BC. Hunters actually required a lot of skill imo. (When compared to Dru/Rog/War/Wlock, maybe even RMP) Hunters were just as much overpowered as DK's were at the launch of Wotlk anyway. So what exactly is your point? [editline]06:57PM[/editline] Oh right, it was about taking them into parties or not. Well, I still stand correct on the Overpowered thingy.
I'm not sure how nerf'd affliction is now (I don't play much WoW anymore) but pve warlocks were always a fun class to me. Once you get drain life and life tap, you can pretty much effectively grind/quest without stopping for food/drink/ect. The Demonology tree is also really fun if you want a pretty much invincible voidwalker.

Facepuke, hunter going good?
Hunters: can be easy as hell to train, but when you are doing RAF with a friend, they just seem too easy and boring. I haven't solo'd long enough on my hunter, so I can't say how fun/easy they are to train. But warlocks: can do anything, if you DoT enough enemies at lower levels (10-40) you can kill enemies pretty fast. Here's my opinion on all of the classes I've played. Paladin: Melee class, pretty easy, considering you can get a glyph that will make exorcism hit over 1000 at level 55. Druid(boomkin/tree): Fun shit here, they have many good abilities, boomkin can hit over 5000 easily with starfall, is that it? Trees are easy and fun with healbot. Haven't tried Feral. Death Knights: Easy with blood, but almost nobody is gonna take you. They are pretty boring at 80, atleast for me. I can't remember any other classes I have on my main realm atm.

Because I think those BM people were just the ~1900 heros, because I hardly even remember last time I struggled against a BM hunter on my druid during S4 even, or in S3 when I was struggling through 1500-1999 and doing shit throughout seasons. But I've still seen semi-many MM hunters (Yep, MM most definitely) and even plaid with few.
BM is a BG spec, marksman is an arena spec.
Yeah but he was talking about skills and shit. I don't think skills are the number 1 requirement to do well on BG.
Although this may be somewhat outdated, it still holds some truth. Check it out, it may help. http://infoceptor.net/wow/strategy/classchoice.shtml
Level a Pally, very fun, and the new instancing makes it really fun to level
