I'm pretty sure everyone is just making it out of reading Wikipedia, but Wikipedia's article is too complicated to summarise in time. For me atleast.

The Axe Gang or however they were called attack a neighborhood and the landlady plus some other guys kick their shit.Then two guys want to join the gang but have to kill one person they try and kill a lady and it goes all loony-toons.In the end after the gang tried to kill the landlady and her husband they actually almost kick the bad guy's arse but the guy who tried to join the gang finishes him off after they fail and becomes a national hero. Oh and there was a little deaf girl the main character failed to protect from bullies when they were little and he finds her and breaks her lollipop and later on at the end they made a candy shop and he met her and grabbed her hend or something and they lived happily ever after

Well, I don't know if I covered most of it cause my memories are real vague even though I watched it a few months ago.It was waaaaay too toony at times for me to focus on the story

Kung fu hustle story :D Set in Canton, China in the 1940s, the story revolves in a town ruled by the Axe Gang, Sing who desperately wants to become a member. He stumbles into a slum ruled by eccentric landlords who turns out to be the greatest kung-fu masters in disguise. Sing's actions eventually cause the Axe Gang and the slumlords to engage in an explosive kung-fu battle. Only one side will win and only one hero will emerge as the greatest kung-fu master of all.
