Yeah I should probably come clean, I haven't really been hacked I just wanted to see if it would work, and oh boy did it.
I think there were about 5 people in the mix that knew about it.

i really did believe that your account was taken.
im afraid to turn this on because im not 100% sure what will happen if i reformat my computer or get a new one. does anyone know what you have to do to reset your computer its set to? because i dont want to lose my account because my computer broke or anything else.

But I'm guessing that the Steam Guard will be helpful if you are getting attacked by hackers alot. I have a lot of games and I have had only 6 spammers ever contact me.

is steamguard out of beta now? because i reformatted my computer and re-installed steam and it made me put in a code to access my profile. i joined the beta once but i un-joined from it because i just had a bad feeling about it.
