Is there a way to cut back on loading times in this game? It takes ages for my game to load up, so I don't play it much anymore because it literally takes at least five minutes to load.

My only suggestion is either turn the settings down or buy more RAM. Just 1GB seemed to shorten it a hell of a lot for me.

Is 4GB enough RAM for LURK?

It's more than enough, I'm running it decently on 2GB.

I am experiencing a shitload of problems with Stalker SoC 1: LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG load times, even with -noprefetch 2: when I change an option, resolution, difficulty, etc, the screen goes black, 5 minutes later it pops up with nothing changed. I can't even change the difficulty

I'd love to be a Loner. Clad in a Stalker Suit, with a trusty Dragunov and a god damn safe-house. I would be dead in thirty seconds, though.

I'm making a request, can someone go into STALKER and take a picture of a fridge? If possible the invincibility fridge (Don't laugh I don't know if it actually exists in the game or if it's something that a character says).

It didn't happen until I installed one of the early patches for LURK. I haven't been bothered to try reinstalling LURK so I just deal with it. It's usually enough time for me to go use the bathroom or get a snack.
