S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Series Megathread: Invincibility Fridge Edition - Games

I installed SHoC with LURk for lulz, fucked about with some cfg's and i got BSOD, literally. did an emergency reinstall of windows, backed up all my coo' files and sent me laptop in for repairs. I fucked up, but I fell fuzzy inside when I think I did it for SHOC

... CoP used to BSOD for me. Did I format my computer for no reason? No.

So far with this PC, I haven't had one BSOD, just freeze-ups.

I only have the new guitar songs, haven't extracted my stuff.

I'd like to edit my SoC guitar sounds so that one of the songs a stalker plays is Through the Fires and Flames.

Yeah. Russian's version of clear sky is compressed to hell. The DVD I got is 2.7gb. Can't wait to see a 10gb US release soon.

If anyone still cares progress on *mod name that everyone forgets* is going well and I'm soon done with all the visual and basic stuff. Soon I'll get to work on the new Story.

I just started again. I tried Vanilla STALKER but it feels bare, like it's missing something. I guess LURK added so much that it's hard to go without it.

It's been Oblivion Lost + Little bits here and there for me, without them it's a totally different game, just in the same world, Modding capability sure does wonders for making a good game Great

Yeah, the same happened when I switched to OL briefly. I missed the weapon orientation, minimalistic HUD, trimmed arsenal mod, graphics, atmosphere and balance. When I switched back, I missed OL's over-the-top nature and massive variety of artifacts (Even though they raped balance in the ass and threw it in the gutter), and weapon spawns. I don't like how much LURK makes you rely on traders though. I always felt that you should rely more on looting and exploring. It feels so right in my head to be encouraged to explore and look in odd places in the wide world of the Zone.
