I installed LURK 1.05, then played it for a bit. Just patched it up to something like 1.0554. Will I need to start a new game again?

No , Holden said that for any updates you will never need to make a new game.

Is that alright?[/QUOTE] As long as you don't do that super annoying "hey let's drain all your stamina for using one medkit great idea". Realism is good, up till a certain point, when it becomes a burden. See: the suit mod which makes people shoot at you when you're using anything but Loner shit. I like the CoP medkit system, no instant healing, but it'll up your health gradually.

Also is it just me or did LURK remove ALL the armour suits except the ones you have to buy?

You mean replacing them all with jackets? Yeah.

Call of Pripyat runs [I]pretty[/I] fine now, except that it lags horribly when I'm in a room full of people, like the first shipwreck and Yanov Station. Unfortunately, someone is shooting at me for no reason outside the station, and I can't take out my weapon to shoot back since I'm inside. Plus, there are one or two people, one with a shotgun and one with an Assault Rifle. And there is some stupid glitch where I can't use grenades. I press 4 to use a grenade, but I can't even equip it.

I think it happens when you have, say, the F1 grenade equipped, then you use all of them and switch to your main weapon, and when you try to use those other grenades, it isn't possible because you still have the F1 selected.

oke im stuck... i got 210 ammo for a pistol and im underground, no healthpacks, no food or drinks... 5 soldiers are waiting me up around the corner... anyone knows how to get out of here? and another question: X-18, scary or not? the underground part of where you had to find Streloks stash already made me shit bricks fly out at 100 MPH

I believe this is how Holden wants it to go: Anything you find, you'd probably sell to traders. This is why artifacts seem insignificant in power. Stalkers want to SELL the artifacts, not use them.
