I wouldn't imagine female stalkers looking that much different from underneath their suits. I reckon there would be some females, you wouldn't try to rape some chick if you're staring down the barrel of her rifle.
I have a question, which mod would you recommend for a first playthrough?
So I'm finding out my Stalker (SoC) Loves to crash... well, instead of crash, Loop a sound about 5 times, then completely lock up my PC, can't even CtrlAltDel because that will say Failed to Initialize. And every time it crashes that Floppy Icon in the lower right corner is there, staring at me in the eye... I'm hoping a Defrag and an increase in page file size will remedy this problem =( And to the above post. Vanilla Stalker will suffice for your first play through, but Stalker Complete or Oblivion Lost or from what I hear LURK, are all good mods to have by your side, since they add some decent features Personally right now all I have is Arsenal Mod RC1, Faction Wars and ZRP Test version (To skip the story and just play freely in the zone with ALife doing whatever the Fux it wants) makes for an equally enjoyable unscripted experience About 10+ Military guys came running into the Bar, and all the Duty and Loners fought back, there were just piles of bodies, and plenty of goodies laying on the ground for my taking, and on the other side of the bar at the other entrance, the one you enter from for the first time during the story, bandits keep wandering in, Not many games give an atmosphere where you feel in danger of being attacked ALL THE TIME, but have a few locations where you actually feel completely safe, even with the possibility that you could still be killed there

They are not a faction. They are larger and smaller groups, it just happens that in CS there was a pretty big one. Also Freedom has great equipment. They don't backstab each other either. (Commandant isn't really counted, since he was a spy).

Ughhh. Seems that there's a mutant party going on at X16 and everyone's invited. So far I can hear a Burer(Dwarf), Controller and a Poltergeist. And their snipers are the best place to get the dragunov/some ammo. When I was in labs there were soldiers and Bloodsuckers standing next to each other like some gay couple.[/QUOTE] no. everyone else likes the labs just fine as they are, and I think we shouldn't have to deal with a mod that's way too easy just because you can't deal with having shit thrown at you. it's not that hard to kill the poltergeists. but there are other ways in which lruk monster health does need to be lowered, just for realism. like the bloodsuckers. I saw one next to an exploding barrel, threw an f1 grenade, blew up the barrel and the grenade, and the thing keeps coming like it was a scratch. it even took a few more shotgun rounds to the face to kill it. also, I like the new food and medkit holstering. makes it so I can't just run at people pressing [ and ] until I reach them.

And bloodfuckers are way too strong right now, when you add in that timer for bandages and medkits they will pretty much be impossible. Lower their health and attack rate please. Oh and you might (might) want to add in a controller melee attack or something. Just so some people can't run up to them and cut their balls off.

Not many who meet them go away alive. What do you expect?

Has anyone made a recording of using the fridge in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. yet? Also speaking of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. how do you guys add the dots? I just type STALKER and double tap left arrow then place a period and repeat.
I can't believe I never tried this game until now. It's fucking amazing!
