Bought it while it was on sale. I really have no idea why it's so great or what it's even really about. But it's still only 2bux.

I can run Crysis on the absolute highest settings under DX10 with 4xAA @ 1680x1050 at 50 FPS but I can't seem to run Clear Sky on the almost highest settings at more than 15 FPS. WTF man.

I'm wondering if I should purchase Clear Sky or Shadow of Chernobyl, assuming that I will mod either. Suggestions?

Note that my PC can run either of these adequately, I'm sure of it. e8400 @ 4.0ghz 4850 512MB 4GB RAM

STALKER is $2 on the steam sale and I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to gift it to a Steam account I made for my younger brother (I'm bootcamping his MacBook for X-mas). I would buy it myself seeing that it's only $2 but I don't have a credit card to do so. PM if you feel nice enough to do so :smile:

I like the feel of Clear Sky more than SoC. It's more... immersive I guess.

I love Clear Sky. So much fun. There are just two things about it that i don't like. 1.) You allies push you away when they run near you, because you can't get within a foot of them or something. 2.) When I load a save, the weather is different every time. EX: I quicksave and then die, load the save, it's sunny out. Die again, load again, now it's dark and there are storm clouds.

It's annoying, one time I was sniping and that happened right before I pulled the trigger. I raged so hard.
