I hate this game. I try to play it, but I can't handle my music ingame, Winamp's global hotkeys won't work and neither do any scripts for controlling Winamp either. So I have to play without music and get scared shitless by everything. :saddowns:

Man what the fuck, is it me or the stealth sucks? I approached the bandit camp carefully using ctrl + mayus, I get to the wall without getting noticed, I take out my gun and suddenly I hear posible russian profanities and I get my ass kicked. Also the gun can't hit for shit. Is it just me that I suck, or the game is a bit weird? Maybe I'll look for mods...

Taking a gun out is as loud as shooting one. Always keep your gun out. And stealth when it's raining.

Use the LURK mod if you stealth, it works wonders...even though everything else in it sucks major cock. OL 2.2 all the way, or Stalker complete 2009. Lurk is only good for the overloaded graphics and stealth, but it lags like a bitch.

If you have he steam version just press [B]shift[/B]+Tab to bring up the steam overlay and [I]then[/I] do your music. Even if you don't have the steam version you should be able to use steam to launch it.

hey a friend bought me stalker for christmas i bought him mirrors edge c: so guys, now i have both shadow of chernobyl and clear sky and im getting my ass scared and id like to ask when i try to play multiplayer it says that the server is on a different version, is my stalker outdated or the server is? and if my stalker is outdated, should it automatically download updates? i just got it and i didnt read all the thread so sorry if the answer is in it

All the servers are hosted in Eastern Europe.
