Planetside 2 Thread v2 - Beta floodgates open GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY - Games

Anyone else crash quite regularly? I know it's beta, just wondering if there's a fix.

Yeah, PS2 sucks without any team. Sadly I am without one. It seems so frustrating. Spawn points are nonexistent. You can't just spawn anywhere, it's either warpgate, galaxy or the base you're capturing. It looked more fun on livestreams.

I seem to have higher FPS when it's nighttime

And before you ask people aren't aligning themselves to a specific faction either because theres enough people out there to want to play all three factions.[/QUOTE] It's because they don't handle like an airplane or helicopter. They handle uniquely. Even then the only thing i find unintuitive is flying upside down is pretty much suicide.

God damn, I just quit out of frustration because I couldn't find the god damn teleporter to the top floor. Base design sucks major ass. And the windows that you can only shoot from don't help either. So much running. I also find too many glowing lights to be distracting when you're looking for enemies. This ain't LV ffs, have some lights in base and a few on air towers, that's it.

Holy shit VS are sucking today on East01 Only 1 major base owned, lost both of our other two, and the TR are just walking over everybody. The TR today seem to have a dedicated group of backhackers in fully souped up Mosquitos, just capturing every outpost imaginable around major bases, and killing any light aircraft that land to capture them back. It's total rape

Dear god, i love this game! Was a dedicated Gal pilot for a squad of 11, we'd fly around capping bases, assisting bigger battles, all coordinated stuff. This is what battlefield should have been.

I remember playing with Nodachi a few weeks ago and watching him kill 20 scatmax's with his barehands.

I know it's the stupidest question, but how can you join, like, a specific squad? So far I only know the "Press F11 if you're stupid and just wanna be in a squad" method. I tried looking around the menus to no avail.

So, random TR Squad of guys get together and actually start to look like a unit and take Tarwich by ourselves. We decide to make an outfit, We call ourselves the Big Wieners. Then we zip around the map, capping bases, and take Dahaka, and hold it for about an hour until finally we get cut off and surrounded and lose the base and all of this took place in the span of 4 hours. Night fighting with AA guns while the NC were swarming us was some serious shit.

This game is absolutely amazing. Probably the great part is that I always roll with a platoon of 2-3 squads and we do absolute wrecking on the bases! Two squads (sometimes just one) focus on ground warfare while one entire squad is compromised of purely Liberators. It's probably the greatest thing I've ever seen in any FPS yet! Don't know about you guys but me and my buds can't wait for the full release! :dance:

Alkali shipping = free exp basically not telling how, because its fucking easy to figure out

Make a personal group for your friends because a facepunch one has no benefits as we would not really be all that much of a group. The only thing we would all have in common is that we play the game. This game is awfully tempting me to want to build a new pc. This is easily one of the best games I've played in a very long time even with all the performance issues I'm having. But it's also hard to justify spending 700 dollars on a machine, so I can play just one game. No other games have been interesting me at all and everything else is essentially a console port anyways so even with a 5 year old machine they run max'ed out.
