Hey anyone mind if i tag along?
How do you gain a decent amount of Certification points? Capturing? Killing?
Anyone on EU1? Add me as a friend on there if you can= Jack245
what server seems to be the most populated, guys? The one I was just on East 3 I think was totally empty and shitty.

On West 2 I got to BR 3 by just landing with a squad from point to point. We didn't fire a single shot for pretty much the entire time.

done but does the friend system even work yet?
VS just performed a lightning defence of zurvan
outnumbered, outgunned, but key spots were held until we pushed the filthy nc and tr off our world
I personally beat down 4 unruly tr with my crab claws.

filthy vanu get your claws off my weapon, you can't fire that, you're a claw
I got good enough performance on my laptop with High/medium settings. Hopefully I can play maxed out when they optimize it more.

Maybe more ram and SSD would help too.
Wow the local voicechat is such a great thing.
Was a gunner in a Liberator, this mosquito started to follow us and declared himself our escort, then proceeded to fly by our side humming the USSR athem. All was well and after shelling some NC bases we got a vanu thingy on our tail, which our escort destroyed but we had to go back for repairs.
Not soon after we turn around and head away from battle we hear a familiar voice behind us "RETREAT IS FOR COWARDS, DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR AAAAAAAAAAGGHGGH" and then he rammed us out of the sky.
It was quite the thing to hear indeed.
As any true* TR should do
*true and untactical

Reminds of when i played APB once, i was going to breach a door that seemed to be un-guarded.
Then i heard voices.
I stop and start to listen:
"... He won't go the other way, let's stay here and ambush him..."
2 Minutes later...
3 KILLS WITHOUT CATCHING A BULLET, YO!!!
On-topic; I like when Devs add this type of feature, it's really nice.
Have the login servers borked or has my crab leakage gotten me banned.
Do you get "your account is not authorized to acces the game at this time"?
If so, then it are the servers
[editline]27th August 2012[/editline]
Or I got banned too for talking about attacks and stuff in here :v:
[editline]27th August 2012[/editline]
I think it's servers

What server? :v:
I've got a key and redeemed it but I don't see where to download the game.

Ignore that, got the e-mail.
I dunno guys, for some reason I'm not enjoying the game as much as I thought I would. It's so hard to find some decent battle or something. Everything is spread out and messy.
Also, I might get boxes for this but this game is too colorful. Needs some contrast setting or something. I'm playing on IPS monitor with good colors, that could be why but still, it's a bit too much for my taste.

I guess battles being spread out is because the game is still closed beta, once it opens it should fill up.

You just need people to play with, it becomes FAR better. I play usually with a full squad or two, it helps :v:

So you're saying that EU server ain't full at 8pm?
[editline]27th August 2012[/editline]
It could be also that I don't like the modern shooters that much. Older ones were somehow more raw. I don't like this BC2/BF3 style/gameplay that we have nowdays.
anybody have any tips on having a better fps? I run it fine when nothing is happening on medium, but if a single person even thinks about pulling a trigger my shit drops to less than 10fps. When I'm in a huge battle it's like watching a family reunion slideshow but with more bullets.
[QUOTE=FlyingDog;37425737]Impromptu vehicle convoys are the best thing ever, two Sunderers, two Prowlers and three Flashes all making their way towards Indar Bay Point. All the while the sun setting on the horizon bathing us in red light.
On another note, I greatly enjoy being an infiltrator, but I wish they'd unlock scout rifles soon so I'm not restricted to sniping. I do find myself being useful for infiltration though, last night I managed to clear E in the Allatum Biolab (with the help of some teammates distracting them) by tossing a grenade in to weaken and confuse the people inside, then I went through the door, all of them focusing fire on the other entrance and opened fire with my sidearm taking out two, went invisible while I was reloading and flanked the remaining two guys before popping back into view and killed them as well. Feels good man.
Edit: Quick question, do you still generate resources even when offline? I really want to get the rocket pods for the Mosquito so I can actually support ground troops, but 12500 Auraxium takes a while to generate.[/QUOTE]
No you only gain resources while you are playing (every 5 minutes by the rates depending on your territory), and you gain bonus resources by getting XP in territories of that resource.
Shit sucks but basically the only way to afford stuff like rocket pods are to idle on servers for days. You'll never be able to afford them otherwise. I think it takes somewhere like 36-40 straight hours of idling before you get enough auraxium to afford a 12,500 item thing the store, assuming your average income for auraxium is 30/per5min and you don't play in auraxium territories.
I think they really need to make it so you get stuff like auraxium at a slower rate when you are not playing, just like for certs. I.E. if your team is getting 40 auraxium per tick, you might get 10-20 per tick if you are offline. Because right now you basically have to idle to get the same effect, which wastes population. It also would encourage people to "invest" more time into the game knowing they still get some resources even if they aren't playing, so they don't have to idle all day. And it would make it so actually doing the stuff where you check up on the state of battle on your moble device has a purpose - as if your empire has no territory in the middle of the night, you literally get no resources from it (where if you did have territory, you would be).
Of course they won't do this I bet, simply because the whole point is to encourage people to buy items in the store with real money, not auraxium, in order to get what they want. Making it so you can get a pro-rated amount of auraxium when you are offline would lessen the importance of spending money on the store. Also it would create issues where people would make accounts with the sole purpose of idling them offline, only to sell them later with their bigass auraxium count they aquired. Still they could prevent this by simply making it so you don't gain auraxium or certs unless you gain a certain amount of XP in a week/month.

[B]MEANWHILE ON WEST03[/B]
auraxium gains currently are horrible.
currently it is absolutely pay to win, because the paying players are going to have the strongest weapons for the vehicles way in advance of the non-payers

so essentially they're walking into the same wall as PS1 where anyone joining after the first month or so after the game launched was completely worthless because everyone was running around with shit that was far better than anything you had.
except you can BUY your way to being overpowered now.
and is it just me or is Battlerank a completely worthless number that means nothing currently and ranking up doesn't actually give you anything.

They're gonna walk into the same wall that a lot of games nowadays are making.
Everyone makes the mistake of thinking that paying in F2P is fine if the non-payers get the same content with more work and time.
it's still pay to win
as soon as you have an unlock instead of a side-grade, you've got pay to win
Case in point, dogfight with someone who has the goddamned lock on missiles when you don't have them, and you don't have any way to flare them.
BE PREPARED TO EAT A FUCKING DICK AND A MISSILE
Sorry if this is a stupid question but which resource is Auraxium, and how do I use that to get rockets for Reaver/Mosquito/Scythe? I took a gander in the certs section for it but it was just upgrades for them.
Its in the store part.
God dammit. Why aren't there side grades?
This is sounding more and more of where BF3 fucked up with vehicles.
(Especially since flares are standard in jets, why the fuck do you have to unlock them!?)
Beta ?
I do believe Balance comes after tech issues and stability.
Sure you can have all players have equal chances and not worry that some upgrade/weapon combo is 1% better than the rest, but what does it matter if game freezes 5 minutes in and unless you play 800x600 you get slide-show fps ?
