Got to play for an hour and a half or so. Even at 20 frames I had quite a bit of fun. This was the most I've played since very early beta and it's improved dramatically. Coolest part was racing up a hill with a big group of friendlies. I checked my right and there were a stream of another dozen or so, checked my left and there was an armored convoy of Magriders, Lightnings, and Sunderers moving up. It felt like those scenes in the old CoD games except all the NPC's were actual players. Very cool. I didn't like how a lot of the fights relied on spawncamping though. If we weren't spawncamping them, they were spawncamping us and either happened far too often in my opinion. Also the NC getting a 1 shot kill sniper rifle by default doesn't seem remotely fair. Otherwise, lots of fun, needs more optimization and better base designs that don't turn every fight into camp the doorway.

I don't really know of a way to fix it though, I guess it's just part of a game like this? Maybe I'm only noticing it so much because the non-camp fights are so fucking great.

The last 3 vids I uploaded had music similar and the people I uploaded it for liked it so I just went with that style. Future vids can be without music or with different style. Just wanted to add something to it as there was no squad talking or commentary. Oh and did you turn the sound off at the beginning because most of the song is not heavy instrumental like the intro. But anyway I know what you mean sorry for offending your ears.

Realized I got in yesterday. Played a few hours today on TR with the Indar push. This game is ridiculously fun, even if I had no idea what's going on and my connection is shit.

How does weapon unlocking work in this game? It all looks very complicated to me.

Araxium buys you new weapons from the store. Then you spend certs on tailoring it.

Is engineer repair still bugged?Was repairing a tank on sureva(?),go zero xp he got like 8 -9 kills while i am repairing,then that shit tked me without even saying thanks :(.Also server get supper laggy at big battles.

Yes, the exp gained for repairing is still bugged. Repairing itself doesn't seem to be bugged anymore, though.

I remember someone saying that the ping difference between US East and US West wasn't that big of a deal. Now that there's only 2 servers (EU and US West) and I'm playing on the US West server, I can definitely say that that is not true. Quiet often it will take at least half a second for a headshot with the NS bolt action to actually do damage and kill them. The weapon swap bug (that I experience at least) is even more prominent. (NC easily has the worst infiltrator class too so it doesn't help at all).

They really need to add EXP gain for hacking equipment terminals, turrets and the like. On that note, it's always good fun to infiltrate a base, hack an anti-vehicle turret and turn it on them.

When I see any aircraft hovering or tanks sitting around, Ill head for the closest turret. The main thing that sucks as NC is they have no decent close-combat weapons. Default loadout is a bolt action and a semi-auto pistol. TR and VS both have semi-auto snipers. The VS has a decent damage pistol, and the TR has an automatic pistol. NC's pistol does decent damage too, but you will die before you can get off enough shots with it to get a kill. Once I get the semi-auto NC sniper (8000 Auraxium good god) then hopefully it won't be as bad. Usually what I'll do is shoot them with the bolt-action, then swap to the pistol and shoot them a few more times for the kill. However, if you miss that bolt action shot, there's a good chance you're screwed. This tactic also usually doesn't work if they're already in your face shooting you. Things that will usually get me killed are: Lag, Low framerate, Weapon swap/zoom bugs, and a new bug I encountered today where my pistol did no damage for whatever reason.

This has caused me many many deaths. And I can't see me ever using the infiltrator for actual infiltraiting till its fixed (which sucks, because being a hacker in PS1 was my favorite thing ever).
