Use 85% rendering as well.

i like flying around esamir in a reaver, swooping low and pretending I'm a snowspeeder on hoth
Any tips? Slowly learning the game, just confuses me where I need to go to capture points, etc. My i5 2500 and 670 gets 60fps in open areas and 30fps in fights, lowest is 25fps. Maxed out of course.
so I followed some guys, shot some people who didn't have nametags above their heads, captured a point and then bought a bike and drove it along the nearest dirt path. I think I ran someone over too then I drove into the enemy base and a tank laughed at me and I went boom game of the year

They also need to remove collisions on dead bodies, some asshole was blocking the main exit for the warp gate spawn with his corpse for like 15 minutes once
I used to find it funny when /suicide nuked the vehicle you were in. Including full galaxies.

Actually we pushed out of the warpgate on east a little while go with a zerg and pushed VS off with half their pop as NC. Highlight was farming an air tower full of unaware snipers in the liberator. Shredder is delicious.

I assumed you meant percentage based on the [i]number of players online[/i] at the time. That means if there are only around 20 VS on the server, then there can only be 20 TR and 20 NC on that server. That would just be silly. Unless you meant about 30% of [i]total server capacity[/i] (which is currently 1950 players) for each faction (650 per faction), to which I would say... that's exactly how it is now.
They need to add a reverse faction bonus for the faction with the highest population. I.e. NC has 50% population so they get a -10% resource, experience bonus and get an extended re-spawn timers for infantry and vehicles. They could also go even further by giving free, instant re-spawn vehicles for the factions that have below a set percentage of the population. It would give them a better fighting chance against the high pop faction.

Some kind of "Imbalance Tax" on resources based on how much your faction outnumbers the enemy on that continent. You want more resources? Go to a continent where your faction needs you.
I like the free vehicles idea. It stands to reason that when shit is really hitting the fan population wise there'd be emergency backup or something.
This guy has comprehensively summed up the problems with PS2 at the current time. I quite liked how he described how the PS1 soundtrack really affected how people felt about the game.
