I didn't realize the horror of weapons lock until my dumbass friend I was showing the game to decided to get in a galaxy turret and mow down EVERYONE he could at the NC warpgate. Killed like 15 people laughing before he got his weapons locked.

What happens during weapon lock? You can't shoot or something?

The VS (rightfully) decides it's easier to attack the TR than the NC.

If we get passive(offline) cert gain and certs are bound with experience does that mean we also get passive auraxium?

XP goes into certs, not the other way around, and they're planning on removing Auraxium and replacing it with either XP or Certs this friday

You know, because you must be on low quality DSL and not be able to actually play the game without severe lag

Bandwidth and latency are different things. He may have just enough of bandwidth to keep the game client in sync, and with good latency, he'll have no problem playing. What I mean is, someone with 100mbit satellite connection isn't going to be playing PS2 in full glory.

If none of my friends want it, I can post my beta key here for one of you guys. Also, which faction should I go? I'm leaning NC but what are most FPers playing?

I play TR on Eurydome and there is a outfit setup on there. My in-game name is Helskga if you want to add me but I'm pretty shit so you probably shouldn't add me if you are looking for help learning the game :V

Planetside 2 makes me wish I had a better computer, and my computer is already pretty good. Edit: Battles are just so stressful because I can't tell if I suck or if it's the latency.

strangely changing the graphics settings doesn't have that huge of an impact on my FPS except if i start putting everything to High. think i'll blame this on my insufficient RAM and crappy triple core

Vanu have 1 hex on Eurydome/Esamir, gg us. I flied 5-8 drops on the Pit, but unfortunately i got shot down by rocketspam, and now we don't have any air-resources so i can't by another one. I feel like Luftwaffe.
