To be fair though, this is kind of a brilliant incentive to paying into the game without making it so its Pay2Win and without making it a grind
Because there is no grind - you can (with this new system) cert into your character much easier, and get new stuff all the time. It'll feel like BF3 in progression I bet. However in doing so, you constantly take points away from what could be weapon unlocks, making it so if you buy the weapons instead, you don't have to use up your certs that you otherwise would have spent on character/class upgrades.
There's no grind, and its not pay to win because certs (which can't be bought) augment your abilities while slightly improving power, and weapons (which can be bought) generally do not directly add power, but give you a benefit in some way while being bad in another way. I feel more compelled to buy weapons, simply because if I use certs for the weapons it takes away certs I could have used to get cool upgrades for my classes. I like that.

Also I just unlocked the Bolt action for vanu. Its a nice little gun. In some ways I actually prefer the default sniper though. I think I might do a video on it later today, on how to not suck with the default sniper.
The big problem with the bolt action for vanu is the scopes still suck - its hard to be accurate with them, which you need to be for the bolt action to get those one hit kills (since if you miss, it's going to be hard to recover).

I've been getting a KDR of 5 by using the ridiculous TR shotgun.
I basically run straight at the enemy formations while cloaked, then uncloak in the middle, throw a grenade, empty my shotgun, pistol, then I knife people. :v:
I love the shotgun so much. Finally TR got something good!
Also. i was just in a Platoon on Eurydome. We had someone coordinate it incredibly well and pushed the NC back to their warp-gate. Was fucking awesome.
The area around the Crown has got to be some of the best imo. Vertical gameplay is awesome. Also the huge crater. Nothing like getting groups of light assaults and jumping off the bridge.
Tried to shoot some footage out of scythe but it got blown away very quickly.

Still, there would be a bunch of full planetside 2 server, hopefully in ps1 too, i will likely play ps1 more too.

Well I'm definitely going back to PS1 simply because I can't play PS2 yet due to performance issues, which sucks, because I want to play without a framerate of 10.
