I'll consider the 20mm one but it's double the price of the grenade launcher. How situational is the grenade launcher? If it can shake up infantry as well as tanks then I'm sold on it.
if you're good at operating a grenade launcher it's fine
Driving a ATV with shitty suspension over rough terrain with a turbo installed and a automatic high-explosive grenade launcher affixed to the front. What could possibly go wrong.
I prefer the 20mm tbh in my experience it makes a great tank hunter. it'll tear up infantry too.
I don't think this has been posted here or not, but I think it's a fantastic idea that would be a lot better than the current system. Unfortunately it's probably too late to implement right now. Long Read: Implementing PS1's Lattice System on Indar SOE needs to push the release date back regardless. I wouldn't mind if November 20th was the open beta date, but I have a feeling if they go through with official release the game will flop and never recover.
I just started this up after not playing this for months. Are you meaning to tell me that I can get certs WITHOUT grinding my life away? I just got 10 certs in half an hour, something never possible before. I hope they keep the rate. All of it. It would make the game 10 times better.
What does the adrenaline shield do?
Shame its literally pointless to play atm with all this lag
I had a huge a lag problem lately but today's patch seemed to have fixed it for me, check it out yo
New Vanu Scythe Fighter here. I was wondering what the best performance certs for any of the 3 factions fighters are.
Here folks, have a beta key GNM7-JAD9-J7NR-CGZH-CCF3 Also damn being a medic is damn fun, I get tons of certs by just reviving and healing everyone and occasionally shooting :V However, there needs to be more engineers that actually heal MAX'es instead of just jerking off in front of their turrets But I also really like the Scythe, now I'm saving up for dumbfire missiles to inflict TERRIBLE TERRIBLE DAMAGE, but I'm concerned if they really do any damage.
There was some great fight on Eurydome. TR held Ti Alloys with some infantry, a Sunderer and a Prowler while both NC and VS attacked with tanks and aircraft. We managed to defend it for 1.5 hours and actually push both of attackers back. And while everybody was busy some smartass went capping on Esamir so now it's completely under TR control. And then server was locked
4TFE-MMDZ-TZAR-PMC6-G9H3 JGN2-E7P3-6M3D-GPHA-4FE9 Have fun people.
I also appear to be locked in Esamir, as I am unable to warp to Indar. Not like I hate Esamir, I just want to have some action is Indar, since I have been playing in Esamir since I began playing (and that was quite recently)

It's both visually and tactically boring.
Man being a medic with a spawn point sundy gets you so much xp, it's glorious.
anyone else sort of holding out playing this until they confirm there wont be any more wipes? usually I don't mind wipes, but I feel like while the cert costs are resonable for long-term, they are far to expensive in the short scale of beta to achieve anything (without it feeling like a kick in the teeth when they wipe it)
On the contrary, I'm using this as a time to try shit I probably wouldn't have if progression actually mattered. When the game comes out I'm definitely buying the pump action shotty for whatever faction I chose to play and some Lightning shit.

As Raidyr said, you actually have an advantage even after wipes if you play in the beta. You know whats good, bad, effective, etc. You'll know things like to never get the Reaver M30 Air Hammer for the NC (unless they completely change it) since it's absolutely useless. Sure it sucks that they wipe characters, but the point of a beta is to test the game. Hopefully, they at one point unlock all weapons for everyone so people can try other weapons so they can balance them since they've been locked or too expensive since the start of the beta. I mean look how OP shotguns were when they finally allowed people to use them.

There needs to be a warpgate lattice for sure but if they actually fix the hotspots then the hex system can work for the continents.
Do you only get one beta key to give to a friend or? I really want my friend from school to play now :(
Do you only get one beta key to give to a friend or? I really want my friend from school to play now :(
You get keys every second update email or something. Not sure what the exact schedule is.

About 2 hours till the Eurydome TR outfit (Terran Mobile Infantry) are doing a group-together. :)
Why are the servers offline?
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/lc47u.jpg[/thumb]
Is that what i think it is?
Is that what i think it is?
Smedley - "Where we're going... we don't need the player base"
I wouldn't mind BFRs if done correctly, they'd be a good counter measure against the tank swarms we're getting currently.
Na then we'd just have BFR swarms.
When this game is complete and bug free and they are looking at content I do have an idea to see BFR's come back in some form. Similarly to that mech thing in the new Halo game, would be fairly light, far lighter than their PS1 counterparts. One man with jetpacks and the weapon system would be the secondaries for each faction's MBT so you can specialize in anti-vehicle or anti-infantry. Dunno what the other arm would be. Don't want it to have dual weapons systems because then it would just be a large MAX. [editline]21st October 2012[/editline] Healthwise I'm thinking lower than Lightning and any buggies they add but higher than the ATV. Something that can take one or two AV weapon shots before it goes down.
I think higby mentioned they might add BFRs, but in sense that it's just a different tank. Could be an addition to empire's MBT or something. Maybe a weapon platform for variety of anti-something stuff.
