Chose NC for a starting character, tried to figure out how things worked while a dropship was loading up people right infront of the main spawn, suddenly game crash while i'm trying to find how to switch classes.
I hope this doesn't become a habit. :suicide:
I believe that the general consensus was that the NC got buffed. Back before the.. first wipe when I stopped playing for a bit the TR we're pretty OP, seems like they just swapped. It feels like the Vanu we're untouched.

Hey guys, what do I do if people start disappearing at like 50m and are still able to shoot me? Can I change the draw distance somehow?
The northern faction holder gets rushed by both the south ones because the middle from the crown down is a massive chokepoint to whoever is defending it (typically VS, see picture above) and fighting in the canyons is fucking annoying.

They've had the highest pop all night and still can't manage to actually hold anything other than the Crown. NJ!!! And not because they just fall under our superior weapons. No, it's because literally everyone is at the crown and no where else.
The only time they actually get shit done is when one of their major outfits do an op. Meanwhile Vanu has no major outfits because the faction as a whole can basically get shit done~~~.

I can't really figure out what Vanu's 'deal' is with their infantry weapons.
Despite being lasers they feel the most 'standard' compared to TR's MG42's and NC's handheld cannons.

When we TR lose we pack up our stuff go back to our warpgate and go to the weakest sector and own NC and VS.

Never had low population but sometimes NC and VS both harass. Then TR would strike back owning over 60% of the continent.

Is that what VR just tried to mob en masse? We had a Saunderer or whatever rolled in up that hill, but then they rushed us and destroyed it.
I'm sure some people will disagree, but I just wish they would remove The Crown and redesign that area. It's a point that's basically impossible to take, and if I were to take some random guess, I'd say there's probably 30% of the server population there at almost any time. whenever I see good interesting battles at other bases, it's usually when one faction owns the crown and it's surrounding land, that way people have no way to attack it, and there's no reason to defend it if nobody is attacking it.
They should change it so it's not a giant ass mountain with only 3 ways up. Whoever is defending it basically spawns right in front of the most used route, yet since it's on top of a hill, they continually have a huge advantage as they spawn.
Level out the entire mountain, make a larger than normal base/facility there, with more buildings than other main facilities, that way people can get that "city/'lots of buildings' warfare" type area a lot of people are asking for. Since it's a key facility make it have the main spawn room right in the dead center. Instead of having the giant walls like the other main facilities have, just use the smaller towers like you see at the Stronghold or the smaller bases in the north, that way it's not a bunch of major choke points that are impossible to get past.
Even if people don't like these suggestions, just redesign The Crown so it isn't so god damn retarded.

imo attacking/defending the crown is some of the funnest moments in the game

Except all that really happens is one faction finally pushes up the hill and manages to camp around the spawn while a few guys go around capping the points. Then they just camp the spawn room for the next 10 minutes with HE tank shells that kill you even if you're on the opposite side of the room.
(Though this is also an issue with every base in the game. It always just devolves into everyone sitting around the enemy spawn waiting for the base to change factions.)
