i just did it twice [editline]2nd November 2012[/editline] they may not have been full health but they weren't spitting fumes or anything so the aircraft must have been in pretty good shape, right either way the AA in this game is atrociously overpowered. it's kind of perfect i think in a way. they should make the cost of aircraft super cheap

Maybe it wasn't just you shooting at them. Because the only thing I've seen take a galaxy down in seconds is like 3 skyguards pretty close

speaking of galaxies, we had a full squad with two galaxies yesterday. i think we did more damage than a liberator. all you heard were people on comms going SCYTHE 6 O'CLOCK HIGH and we just pulverized infantry. the galaxy is literally the best anti infantry weapon there is, let alone two of them also sunderer armor mod 4 lyfe

We held back the NC while the TR were fighting the NC, and then we swooped up and to the right, taking like 15 sectors. Pushed them to their base nearly before the server shut down. VS 4 lyfe

The TR is piss easy compared to fighting the VS in my opinion. I bet new players get disappointed when they join the TR for the first time only to see them getting gateraped.

it's because TR players are obsessed with the crown it's a joke, dude. it's not even fun to play on TR because it ALWAYS happens. once we get the crown it's all over for us. it's absolutely retarded because our team knows better

Is it even possible for someone to get into aircraft by playing it at the start? It seems like you'll get shot down instantly unless you put a great deal of certs into it beforehand.

Not really. I haven't put a single cert into aircraft and I can still be more or less effective as anyone else.

NC are the trolls and griefers who just fuck around at their own expense and the expense of their faction. VS are lower in population but are generally elitists. Atleast that was my experience back when I played the Beta a month or more back, I wonder if it changed. I only played PS1 a bit before and never got into it because I didn't have of any way to pay the fee so I only really played PS2 so I'm not really loyal to any faction but I joined TR first, I love the idea of chain guns and high rate of fire and stuff but it seems that all the factions are kind of ass so I don't really root for any right now.

[/QUOTE] Every time the zerg captures a facility, people immediately blurt out into regional chat "TAKE THE CROWN" The TR sanctuary before the immunity was hilarious. Mosquitos would dry-hump Galaxies and tanks, people would shoot smoke grenades into each other's face (killing them), and tanks would play bumper cars while infantry hopelessly run around, trying to avoid being run over.

Has anyone else had problems with the launchpad? Every time I leave it on to download the game it always stops because of an error (Connection Timed out and the sorts, hell, just look a few posts above mine)

seriously SOE do something about tanks, those little facilities with only flash/sunderer pads and no turrets have literally 0 defense against a tank zerg (commonly mistaken for skill and strategy), people literally roll in with high explosive shells and just barrage the place meanwhile the defenders are hopelessly shooting the silly HA rockets just to watch the MBTs get repaired faster than you can reload
