You can outrun them
You just need a lot of boost and bank a corner really fast. AFAIK they travel at 250KPH, while boosted you go 300 or so. Just wait until the lock goes to a fire then just hold boost and try to get something between you and the missile.
Also, this works better if you have afterburners fully cert'd. Goodluck otherwise.

Tbh, they should re-work some of the UI, if not most. It's not that smooth and easy to read/notice. Current vehicle health bar would be some sense if they had locational damage. I would actually like locational damage. Would be nice to use Sundie as a shield and then use the other side for even more shielding. :v:

I also don't like the way you fall out of vehicles briefly after they explode. It leaves me with a bit of hope like "Maybe I survived that one..." _/:v:\_

No point in playing tonight as VS on East01
Literally almost impossible to survive for more than 5 minutes because of 20% population. Zero point in even bothering to try and play at that point. You don't even gain resources because you have so few territories and you have no base with arax, and there hasn't been a base capture in the past hour. Doesn't help that literally nobody was bothering to use gals/sundies/ANYTHING even in higher populated areas
Hell I can't even get out of my own warpgate with an almost-fully-upgraded boost on my scythe and A2G missiles without taking damage they were camping us so hard too
Totally pointless. Hopefully tomorrow (after my 12 hour shift) the population wont be so utterly fucked

I got this one dude on NC who was about to fly off twice and took potshots at him so he would come back and try to find me.

rocket pods are complete rape on towers, because you can shoot them almost anywhere and get about 40 kills.
anti air missiles were bugged so that vanu scythes couldn't avoid them, not sure if that's still there but I still think they're cheap as hell. They ruin dogfights.
I'd go for the rocket pods, you'll do more good for your faction.

I love the game, and love big battles, but am I the only one who kind of despises a lot of major bases right now? Dahaka AMP station for example is a really bad ofender, lemme detail why:
-Generic Sci-fi buildings everywhere. You have no idea which part of the base you are at by just looking at your surroundings.
-Boxes, pipes, crates, containers, and weird tech-thingies clutter everything. Sure, it is supposed to be cover, and also let you hide from the enemy, but there is just too much of it, and they act as visual noise, not letting you have a clear line of sight anywhere. All the tiny boxes and pipes also get your vehicles stuck if you just wanna drive out of the base, hell, you can get stuck on half of them even on foot, then you can jump around for seconds to finally surpass the 30 cm high bumps on generic sci-fi pylon thing #657, when all you wanted to do was jump over it to get in cover, and God help you if you tried to do so while being fired at.
-No identifiable, distinguishable layout to most bases. Sure, when you look at the map, you see the vague lines of a base layout, but all the visual clutter, the tiny random sheds, the pipes, the pylons completely destroy any layout bases have, turning them into a huge maze where the opposing factions' troops run around, confused, trying to find a way towards the points they need to capture, as simply going towards the flashing indicators will just make you walk into a dead end somewhere. In this clusterfuck, you can never know even the general direction from which your enemy will approach, and will most probably just bump into them around a corner, resulting in both sides just spraying bullets and desperately scurrying off behind a corner
The capture point thing is not an entirely flawed idea, what ruins it is that on every major base, the points are effectively hidden in a giant maze, where players run around like headless chicken trying to find the points, and occasionally bump into enemies.
In smaller outposts, you actually know what you are defending, and can actually set up a defensive position. In the large bases, that just doesn't work, because some enemy will just pop out of the maze of unnecessary pieces of shit lying around right behind you and your teammates.

It happens when they rotate the warpgate ownership to another faction for testing purposes.
What don't you understand?
I mean sure they could have reset the ownership of everything else but it doesn't make a difference.

It seems to have happened yesterday / today in the morning.
When I logged in when the servers came up today it was similar to that and as far as I know the factions stayed at the same warpgate.
Then suddenly VS everywhere.
Laptops handling it fine so far on high, it is however hotter than the sun, even with a cooler base.
After this new patch, my map is a blank, black screen.
