Will station cash be reset on launch and stats? I don't mind if it is myself.
Station cash currently has no use and won't but touched until launch.
And of course, everything will be wiped.

Are you sure you're on US west? We managed to take the tech plant and every other base the NC had and pushed them to within 3 outposts of their warpgate. I do love the vanguard, I have a BR9 engineer on the NC just to use it.
However, I was never a big fan of the Reaver, it felt like someone strapped rockets to a refrigerator. It didn't feel particularly maneuverable or powerful, and while it is fast, speed advantage is negligible in a dogfight. It is useful for outrunning AA missiles, but fully upgraded flares tend to take care of that.
Am I the only one who hates lock on missiles?
I like the NC's concept lore wise (who doesn't like giant conglomerates wanting take over a planet and extort its resources?) and gameplay wise (with dem slow firing yet powerful guns), but I can't help but feel that it's a shit faction. The NC gets wrecked everywhere it goes by the TR. Plus I don't care for its soundtrack.
I don't like the TR's fast firing concept and while the VS may be hardcore motherfuckers with awesome gunplay, I'm more of a tank kind of guy and I hate the fuck out of magriders.
What do
Terran usually just has a larger playerbase, hence they tend to gain a lot of territory. nc+vs teaming on them isn't rare :v:

i like tr because i love their aesthetic and that's really all you should be looking for if this game is balanced correctly

The only thing I really dislike about the TR is the prowler, which currently can't stack up against other tanks in anything but an anti infantry capacity.

Synopsis for patch coming this week:
1. Cont locking with empire-wide benefits for owning a cont
2. Main bases give bonuses now. You must own a techlab to spawn MBT's everywhere, you get minor health regen if you own a biolab connected to your territory, etc..
3. Capture mechanics changed to a tug of war system, where having more people on the point (in addition to influence and number of poitns you own) causes your empire to cap that terriotry faster. You cap now by draining progress from the other empire into your own, versus "a race to get to 100% capture" as it was before. This means the more people you have on a point, the faster it captures, making it so you have to actually HOLD a point to capture it at a decent rate (this won't be required of course if you actually kill all the enemy while defending, since there's no threat of the enemy flipping the point anymore and the base will auto capture at a slower rate if you have nobody on it).
4. XP revamp for capture. Bases will basically self-correct if you own all the points in a base and removed all the enemy threats, meaning defenders don't have to stick around and wait for base re-capture (which no longer gives XP anymore if defending). Large XP bonus for capturing enemy territory
5. Various other updates to the store, indar, balance, etc.

So, they changed everything such as scopes, grips, etc, to 48 certs (in the last patch), and then they lower the rate at which you get certs? Yes it says they added more sources of XP, but the "extra" amount you make probably wont make up the 250 XP difference between patches. If it's like all of the other "XP Bonuses" they have that only award 5-25, Then you would need to do whatever it is at least 10 times (I doubt they would make a 25XP reward common) or at most 50 times (For the "minor" things such as repairing or healing).

So even with the 4000 Station cash some will be getting, you'll be able to buy 5-16 ((4000/700) - (4000/250)) weapons. I'm assuming the ones that cost 700 SC will be "better" than the ones that cost 250 (this also applies to cert prices), though at the same time I wonder why the sidegrades have varying prices. Although, a reasonable explanation for this is because a weapon for a Flash won't cost as much as a weapon for a tank, so this is potentially explainable. Presently, I have this doubt because there are currently weapons for the same vehicle that have different prices, but better/worse functionality.

like a dedicated driver with a forward-facing hard hitter like rocket pods, and a gunner with a 360 degree turret

Maybe something you can cert into that turns your reaver/mozzie/scythe into a proper gunship with a gunner firing a turret and missiles while the pilot uses rockets or something.

I'd rather they expand on the liberator to fill that roll and give the light aircraft more scouting capability through certifications.

The only way to get out was through the top of the building up the stairs but these players were also trying to block that off with reavers at the time I logged off.

If that shit happens, just redeploy or use instant action.
I think if you type "/report name" in chat, it reports the player and the appropriate actions will be taken but it can take a lot of time. Note: I think it is only for hackers/exploiters/glitchers at the moment, not for this sort of stuff unless they glitched to get there.

Considering how the platform is blocked off making it impossible to get sunderers in there, I'm betting they used some sort of exploit.

Light assault ought to be renamed infiltrator. At one of the tech plants I wanted to infiltrate the heavily fortified base and overload their main generator. So I rolled a LA and flanked the huge zerg battle which was going on. I used my fully certed jumpjet to take cover from rooftop to rooftop, balcony to balcony. I had several opportunities to get an easy kill on unsuspecting enemies but I had my objective in mind. So avoiding any conflicts I made it to the main facility which was crawling with enemy resistance. I flew straight from a rooftop and on to the roof of the facility which had several roof exits for the landing pads. I made my way down using my jumpjet and managed to completely avoid the mass of troops on the lower floors. Then made my way to the generator which was being guarded by another LA. A short burst from my silenced assault rifle and he went down, made my way up and overloaded that motherfuckeer. Then I hear my squad leader on the voice com say "Yeah, we got this now"
All this while all the infiltrators on our team are sitting on a hill sniping the zerg :v:
