every single patch is like 4 gigs but why
Lack of incremental patching I reckon, too bad they don't use anything like rsync :v:
jonoPorter you must join me later for another NC rape train, shit was amazing anyone else on NC on Eurydome is welcome to come too ofc
Add crimor, totally up for some rape train later.
clearly you should stop trying to suppress if people are just going to walk into your line of fire weapon lock is a completely broken system but until its addressed you should just try to work with it
I've never ever had weapon lock Being aware of teammates and engaging in clear lines of fire, while remembering to stop shooting if some guy does walk infront of you helps Of course I used to play Americas Army 2.X religiously when I was younger and that game had a no tolerance policy on friendly fire (get autokicked from loosing too much RoE [usually one kill was enough], and if you lose enough of that you lose global ranking which determined what priority you had getting into servers and getting the player-limited class you wanted), and if you were doing the shooting it was always considered your fault.
yeah, avoiding friendly fire is just something you're gonna have to get used to, luckily I've spent over a 1000 hours losing close range engagements in APB due to not risking of crushing a teammate's skull with a 12 gauge so it's not that big of a problem for me.
Anyone know if the NC jackhammer is any good? sound pretty fun.
they should do something about player collision though, can't do anything if somebody decides to run right through you when you're engaged in hot bullettings ninja [editline]11th November 2012[/editline]
Anyone know if the NC jackhammer is any good? sound pretty fun.
All I know is that it has a decent rate of fire and a sweet gauss effect when shooting
So how often do they give out keys, or is buying pretty much the only way?
So how often do they give out keys, or is buying pretty much the only way?
Another way is checking your PMs
So how often do they give out keys, or is buying pretty much the only way?
You could just wait a little over a week for it to go open beta.
Yay 2000certs
Another way is checking your PMs
whoop thanks
duders, the eurydome nc rape train is now beginning if you're gon come add TaggartNC and let's start paving our way through Amerish, to glory!
every single patch is like 4 gigs but why
Every time they make changes to a continent probably means redownloading the whole continent.
my bandwidth MY BANDWIDTHHH I only have 100gb cap
New capture mechanics look pretty neat. I hated the dead time and spawn room camping when a faction clearly took over a base.
New capture mechanics look pretty neat. I hated the dead time and spawn room camping when a faction clearly took over a base.
It still happens. It basically feels like nothing changed besides now you need a few people to stand by the cap point. Since most of the bases only have 1 point, they still capture ridiculously slow even if there were 500 people in that base alone. It feels like the only thing this patch did was raise cert prices ridiculously high while slowing the rate we get them.
So is the jackhammer any good or what?
I noticed that the new landing mechanics aren't really ideal. My landed Reaver keeps hopping forward. If I'd leave it alone on a platform long enough, it'd hop over the edge I think.
I'm talking about your actual kill rate. Not that little burst of kills you get every now and again. If you get 6 certs per hour you are getting about 1500 exp per hour. Which is 15 kills per hour at the very least amount of exp per kill you can get, or objectives. Which is probably more like 10 kills per hour. Or 0.16 kills per minute.
is there a measure of actual kill rate somewhere because I haven't seen it and it would be literally impossible to just throw a guess out there
So is the jackhammer any good or what?
In my opinion, no. You're better off getting one of the combat shotguns as they have more shots and do only slightly less damage.
is there a measure of actual kill rate somewhere because I haven't seen it and it would be literally impossible to just throw a guess out there
If you're sitting around as a sniper, your only score will come from killing people. Since you evidently only get headshots, only kill people, and likely don't die often, then you can check your average score per hour and divide it appropriately per kill point (headshot+kill+streak+anything else) to get your kill rate. [editline]11th November 2012[/editline] Also, if you enjoy your playstyle, by all means continue. However, I will say that you should try sticking with your team more; sitting around as a sniper shooting occasionally at passersby isn't overly helpful to your team.
I find it funny, I always end up in supporting roles, I like keeping an entire group on the move.
Same here, I used those 1000 certs they gave us a few days ago to max out my medic equipment, now it only takes a single second to revive someone and he revives at 100% health, so I can just run in, revive, get out.
Holy shit, they made rocket pods cost more AND do less damage. I feel violated.
Holy shit, they made rocket pods cost more AND do less damage. I feel violated.
they are still annoying as fuck
they are still annoying as fuck
The best counter to air is air of your own, which makes nice dogfights happen
An anti tank rocket does about half the total health of a fighter if it hits. You know, an anti tank rocket. The one that doesn't have any business hitting a fighter jet unless you're lucky or they're sitting there and deserve to die because they are sitting there.
