Medics put out the most points per hour easily. In a big fight if your med gun is fully upgraded you can put out 15k/hr by just reviving. Even if you only do get points for every other revive.

Still, though, 15k/hour at the reduced cert point rate and increased costs is next to nothing. It's a drop in the bucket of what you'd need to get.

I think this is a bad thing. Since the best counter to air is air, that tells me that air is the greatest thing in the game. Jets still have a lot of health, and can dish out fair damage versus anything on the ground or in the air. Their durability and mobility means they can fly in from their base, directly into flak, shoot a salvo of rockets, and leave to come back later.

It takes about 3 AA guns to actually be able to stop a jet before he can fire his salvo. Since there's so many flying, perhaps 10-15 if you're fighting a big tank battle that attracts jets, it takes more AA to stop them. Fielding 7+ AA makes you REALLY obvious, which means the jets will come from another angle and kill your paper tanks.

And if you DO manage to kill of all the jets in the area, your useless AA is a waste of space. There's nothing else it can do. In the event your fighter jets DO manage to kill of all the tanks in an area, they can go anywhere and do anything.

And since jets kill things so quickly, Liberators have no place.

Their sustained firepower over an area is longer lasting, but about equally as deadly as a jet. That, combined with their inability to defend themselves against anything that flies means a fighter is a better choice to me.

well, fuck didn't get any certs. No fucking clue why they made the requirement so high after halving cert progress. Well, I guess I will have to work extra hard this upcomming week.

Didn't get the 1k cert bonus either. damn. shouldn't have spent it on upgrading my damn lightening.

Should be good now. I'm getting a patch download so that probably means the servers are back up.

Yeah, I've just started it up for the first time and it says that all servers have a low population and it won't let me select one

Also, are empires just a "choose which one you like the most" kind of thing?
