i am gud pilot The front gun is jammed above the railing, while the missile pod is stuck inside it. The left wing is jammed under the tower railing. The horizontal stabilizer is stuck inside the anti-air turret.
IS there a secret to piloting those one-man planes? All I ever manage is to crash 'em into the ground. I did learned that trying to turn using the mouse is pointless.
Is there any comand that takes pictures in-game?
Is there any comand that takes pictures in-game?
Windowed mode > Print screen > Paste in paint. Don't know any other way.

I'm used to games like BF3 where planes turn slowly and you can't do many tricks, in this you can just spin around and do backflips and all kinds of shit it's amazing. So many options to getting behind someone on your tail. Mouse is also what you really wanna use, can't aim accurately when flying with just keyboard. [editline]30th August 2012[/editline] I love flying around buildings and between the pipes while spinning around all over and shit.
Do not underestimate the fact you hold space to go up, it means if you turn and hold space, the speed at which you can bank is incredible. That and you can almost stop in mid air, which makes dogfighting crazy.
Please explain further as i do not quite understand?
When you are in the game press Alt and Enter at the same time, you should now be in windowed mode. Once you are in windowed mode press the Print Screen button (to the right of F12), open Paint or similar and just paste (ctrl+v) the content. Not sure if you HAVE to be in windowed mode, I have to do it else it will just show the desktop on the screenshot. I think that's the only way at the moment, if someone knows an easier way, please tell.
unless they have rocket pods then dogfighting is bang you're dead in two shots.
oh yeah, unless they have the tomcat a2a. then your dogfighting experience is noticing the rather small "LOCK" sign, and then being basically instakilled shittest unlock 2012
I know this is stupid, but how do I adjust the altitude of a Galaxy? I mean seriously, I tried looking in the key bindings and couldn't find one (unless I'm blind). I spawned one to try and get some flying practice but ending up just hovering in the air (spawned me already in the air) and all I knew how to do was move forwards, backwards and so on, just unsure how to basic go up and down.

It's pretty standard.
Yea jump and crouch makes you go up and down, you might just not have noticed since it's kinda slow. Also did you guys know that on the liberator you can bind free aim to a button and it will actually shot the main gun where you look (pilot)? It is incredibly useful, noticed it the first day of playing :v: Makes shooting fighters down a piece of cake since they die in like 3 seconds.
That looks pretty smooth. Do you force some AA or something?
No. I'm just running on high settings.
No. I'm just running on high settings.
As do I. Weird. I guess it's just a good shot.

Thanks to the loveable Firewarrior, i managed to get some screens: Now featuring... >SECRET NC DEFENSIVE PLANS< [SP]TR and VS won't stand a chance :V[/SP]
Coming from playing ARMA2 the planes feel like they're moving through treacle.
problem is the speed doesn't matter, because currently they're all incredibly hard to shoot down.

You can also press ctrl to descend. It blew my mind when I first figured that out.

Has the NDA been lifted yet? Latest patch has
A YouTube Uploader is now available in the client.
What's with heavy fog under warpgate vehicle spawn? [t]http://i.imgur.com/2OYqU.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/lEFJU.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/ljRXS.png[/t]
None of you thought of looking at the keybindings?
Pfffffffft, looking at keybindings is for pansy's. Real men learn how to fly just by jumping in with no idea what you're doing. It's gone pretty well for me so far, granted I have experience in other games like BF3. (When I first jumped into a Reaver, I started flying it like an F35). Then later I figured out the space/ctrl feature.
So this is what I noticed from this patch - The instant action timer went up to something like 25 minutes, which is cool, but. . . Did they change the rate at which you gather minerals? To spawn vehicles and such? Because I played for an hour and I couldn't even spawn a Mosquito on my Terran character, yet yesterday pre - patch I'd be able to spawn the little ship for the NC every few minutes and go Anakin Skywalker on everyones ass. [editline]30th August 2012[/editline] I mean, it might just be because the Terran have no territory in comparison to the NC, but still. . . It's a bit ridiculous. The difference is ginormous. Could never find the Galaxy before, now I see you spawn it at the base of the tower rather than the top, so I flew one for the first time. It was empty, only me inside, so I flew over the battlefield against the Vanu and realized I was entirely useless, and a scythe or whatever ( Vanu dickship ) was flying straight at me, shooting, and I think he was going to flying overhead of me but as soon as we were some fifty meters apart I hit space and rammed right into his cultist Vanu ass. I got the kill, it was like ( + 100, + 70 for killing the ship, +20 for ramming. ) I also died, though. I'd have thought the Galaxy would shrug him off.
So was everyone accepted? I still got no invite.
