I finally decided to install this game and try it. Right now it's still installing. One megabyte at a time. Oh, this is going to take forever. Is this more slow paced than Battlefield 3?

I play on medium and most of the locations look relatively the same for me. Esamir might not have been the best place to take them as it's relatively bleak, but it definitely doesn't look like high. Even when on all high now I sometimes get very low resolution textures on certain objects, then I'll see the same object later with a much better texture. I did a bit of a comparison between high and ultra settings and the console seems to look like it's a slightly higher res on high than in your screenshot. Maybe it's graphic card related. Depending how good it is, the game auto-assigns certain graphical features and shaders.

Of course not. Unless you mean a scope cert for a specific veh weapon, in which case still no. If you get 1.5x zoom for your main gun on a reaver, you only get it for that gun. Your character is tied to wahtever server you sign up on, so no. Red dots on the map are typically from gunfire. If you shoot, you show up on the map as a red dot, unless you have supressor. Other things can cause red dots to show up to like radar beacons. well. made 100 certs today. I'm going for the weapon medal rewards to gain them since regular play (as in switching between weapons) is a waste of time. Is there any way at all to see how many kills you have with a specific weapon? You get 100 certs for an auraxium medal for a weapon which is 1000 kills.
