Planetside 2 Thread v2 - Beta floodgates open GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY - Games

It wasn't my firewall, but a side program that my firewall runs called Deepguard. I guess even though it was told to allow my program, it still wouldn't let it run. Shut it off and it started fine.

Can't even get in-game. It starts up and the load screen gets to 15% and sits there until the screen goes black and I have to end the task. This didn't happen in beta..

Bit of a long shot, but am having a problem with a Windows 8 Laptop. Basically, almost everything on the UI has the letters "##UI." on the front of it. So instead of "Settings" appearing in the bottom right when you click escape, it says "##UI.Settings" instead. It wouldn't be so much of an issue but it also means some text (like the names of servers) just don't appear. And it looks toss. Googling the problem even with the quotation marks doesn't seem to show anything up. Anyone else encountered this? If anyone else has the problem all you need to do is change the language in the launcher, run the game, quit and then run it again as English. Yay!

Awh hell yeah I was running at 20-30 fps so I decided to download the beta drivers for AMD cards that came out and it's given me like around 10 more fps. I recommend anyone using a AMD card to install them.

Anyone else stuck at the "Server is full" screen with the queue stuck at 0? I've been there for almost half an hour now.

Just finished downloading this from Steam. I create an account on the EU server, simple enough. Then when I try to log in through the game client it INSISTS that my login info is incorrect. I even changed the password through the website but the client doesnt let me log in. The fuck is this, anyone have any ideas?

could someone give a quick rundown of the factions and the playerbase for each of them?

Having trouble actually getting in the game (The first loading screen freezes after clicking play on the launchpad) tried validating my game assets. I wish previewing armour showed it actually on your soldier and not just floating. Having some floating armour plates or a helmet is hardly a good reference point to what it looks like in-game.

That's just me though. You might want to get some weapons for aircraft I guess, then maybe save the rest until something else catches your eye.
