Well, the GD7 or whatever it's called was my favorite weapon during the beta, and now it costs a completely reasonable 1000 certs. Fuck me.
I keep getting moved back because of members.. A membership doesn't sound all that bad with a 50% increase to passive cert gain. Assuming you get the 6 month or higher.
i've been hearing from some PS1 players that PS2 is dumbed down and is a generic shooter are there any PS1 veterans who disagree?? i have never played the original so i would like to get some feedback

Still a lovely game though.
Honestly I would go for cosmetic stuff mostly. I would never spend real money to get something I could already get through some in-game process. That's just me though. You might want to get some weapons for aircraft I guess, then maybe save the rest until something else catches your eye.
I wanted to support the game with the alpha squad purchase, don't plan to buy more station cash though.

I prefer PS2 personally, the biggest thing I don't like is MBTs taking only one person to use
Server is full: Queue time 4:23:04 :suicide:
How much money does setting up a sundie spawn generally bring in? It's bugging me that so few people set them up.
Just finished downloading this from Steam. I create an account on the EU server, simple enough. Then when I try to log in through the game client it INSISTS that my login info is incorrect. I even changed the password through the website but the client doesnt let me log in. The fuck is this, anyone have any ideas?
Managed to get it to work and log into my account. When I click "Accept" on the Terms the launcher crashes with no error message. Guess im not playing this.
How much money does setting up a sundie spawn generally bring in? It's bugging me that so few people set them up.
About 2xp per spawn if I remember correctly. If you place it in a good position where loads of people use it you really feel like credit to team too.
you guys are lucky. I live in the sticks so it takes me over 5 hours to download.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAno
Where would I get them???
http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalyst1211betadriver.aspx Sorry for the late response, was too busy killing TR scum.
It says my username and password is incorrect but.... it isnt. Do I need to make some kind of new account or whatever.
I can't even get the game to start. It reaches the splash screen and then the dreaded "Planetside2.exe has stopped working" window pops up.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/Pe5eE.png[/t] HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAno
I just got up today and downloaded Planetside 2 at 5 MB/s
One thing that does impress me about this games ~performance~ is the netcode. God damn I can just hop on any US server from the UK, right in the middle of a 100 man zerg and I can't even tell the difference from the EU server, nor do I feel anyway disadvantaged.
i'm so confused and lost somebody help me :(
Should I even bother playing on the Aussie server? Population is low..
Should I even bother playing on the Aussie server? Population is low..
Most people are at work/school at the moment.
Downloading off steam is super-slow, I got it directly off the site and it went 10mb/sec
Most people are at work/school at the moment.
Oh, right. I forgot that not everyone is a jobless bum like me.
i love how much they optimized the game. no longer do i have to run it on 1024x680 or w/e resolution, but i can finally run it at 1600x900 without dipping below 60 fps. they really have worked hard on the game since the tech test.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAno
What skin is that?
What skin is that?
Pixelvision.
my performance isn't any better than beta. Oh well, I guess this old AMD Athlon X2 5200+ just won't do the job these days anymore.
I'm fairly certain I just saw an infiltrator running around trying to 360 noscope people :v:
I like how they ever so slightly changed the shortcut icon.
the fact there's a login queue makes me very sad
I knew there'd be a catch with it being free to play, in the fact that unlocking shit without paying for it is going to take literally impossibly long. Quite sad really, puts me off from playing it if i play for 3 hours straight and still don't have enough certificates or w/e the fuck they're called to unlock a sight for a weapon.
