Planetside 2 Thread v2 - Beta floodgates open GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY

First time playing this game, and 2 minutes in my s key jams on for no reason.
So we took the biolab, except for this one tiny room with a spawner in it. It has shields on the doors so we can't shoot in, but they can shoot out. Is this an exploit? It seems ridiculous that we have the entire facility... but we can't take this one little room.
This one guy keeps spawning over and over and just waits for people to come by.

At least you got in. I'm stuck trying to log in, it keeps saying I have to reset the password for the account I just made 10 minutes ago for "security reasons".
log in, get to EULA this time, accept, freezes up, log in again, error logging in :(
You also get more 'offline bucket certs'.
What are those anyway.
What are those anyway.
you gain cert over time while you're logged out that way you don't have to play 24/7 to grind cert.
I'm really torn between TR or NC.
I like the style, colors, design and all of the TR the best. The only thing that might be a bother is their backstory (I'm a sucker for that). Whilst the TR is almost dictatorial, the NC are Freedom fighters. Or so they claim. It's really bothering me right now as I would take TR in a heartbeat if they weren't so oppressive.
NC had the coolest sounding character select music.
I find it funny you say my way of earning my certs is 'the playing it safe way' and yours is just going to empty bases and rarely getting one guy alone and killing him for an easy kill, otherwise little action.
In a game with portable respawns, "safety" is a question of how inconvenient it is to get to where you were when you died.
Playing LA and hopping from the mystery machine to five easy kills in a zerg isn't challenging. Taking a base in the middle of nowhere by yourself and actually contributing some resources to the faction instead of being a redundant gunsel is.

I think it's pretty much impossible to argue the game incentivizes genuinely challenging play, it rewards sitting in or creating a killbox infinitely more than actually earning some resources.
I only got to play for an hour tonight, but it was pretty epic.
Seeing the ~120 dudes in my faction move out in one cohesive unit on foot, ground and air vehicles and just storm an enemy base was something I've only dreamed of prior to this game.
Does anyone know if it's possible to get my MAX to like this using the store?

When I realised the NC music sounded like Nickelback I immediatly switched to TR. It was either that or the guys with dildo helmets.
EDIT: Also, has anyone been unable to use the game's voice chat? I tried on 2 US servers and no one was able to use their mics.
Pretty fucking annoying when you're used to calling targets out to your platoon mates.
"I get more points per hour than you"
"My way is better"
"Nuh uh my way is funner"
Maybe you guys should take your hands off your dicks from waving them around so you can play the game.
What are they gonna do about the exploiters? (AKA Stat padding)

Clearly something is broken when you can die 30 million times within 25 minutes.

Maybe they're just really bad?
(but seriously) It looks more like an issue with the scoreboard than anything
Sooo, what's the verdict?
I don't understand what's the idea behind throwing me in the middle of enemy lines after I've created my character.

Because you're a clone in a war that's bigger than one person? what better way is it to introduce you?
"Hey here you go, if you fuck up, really doesn't matter"
Anyone else getting string errors everywhere? Also, Steam version is US only...what the hell.
Experienced my first crash.
I can't even start up the game for some reason. Keeps crashing and says 'Planetside.exe Failed'
So, what were the rewards beta testers got?
So, what were the rewards beta testers got?
I think there's a camo you get. I'd check but I still can't get into the game.
[editline]e[/editline]
Oh I just got in
[editline]e[/editline]
"You have been disconnected from the server."
"Planetside2.exe has stopped working"
My graphics started flickering between the world and the skybox and before I could log out I got "GAME ERROR G30".
i don't know, i've been playing since the tech test and i haven't received squat.

An ugly decal. That's it.

Is Resist Shield the one that makes Heavy less sucky?
Whenever i accept the EULA on the launcher, I crash D:
I crash every twenty to thirty minutes, really quite annoying.
I had some trouble with the launcher, the play button disappeared after the first launch.
But I was frustrated enough to find a way to fix it. Just delete a folder called Default inside your "steam/steamapps/common/planetside2/LaunchPad.libs\LaunchPad.Cache"
So, is this considered as a pay-2-win freetoplay or is it worth the download?
