Yeah I'm using it right now.

What server is west coast FP playing on?
LaunchPad was unable to connect. Please check the network connection or try again later.
Woe is me
God damn I hate it when people crash their aircraft when you are about to kill them. Giving you only 30 xp for "assisting" instead of the usual 210. Its even worse when they do this shit on purpose just to spite you.
Oh man the grenades are everywhereeeeeeeee.

so is there anything to stop people buying the best weapons and raping l1's? Seems like people with station cash have a bit of an advantage this early on.

They should just make it so that if some one suicides while in an aircraft within a certain timeframe of being damaged, the last person to damage them gets awarded the kill.
yeah it happens a lot when someone catches fire and go in for a landing, usually ramming into the ground or other stuff due to panic and assploding, obviously the player who set them on fire should get the kill
wtf how are people getting like 50 kills
i probrably never got 50 kills in the entire beta and i have been in since tech test
i just spawn, look around, drive/walk for like an half an hour still finding no enemies and then just acciendtaly kill myself
or i spawn take a plane kill myself
or i go to a big fight and get killed by random teammates (this happens all the fucking time)
how do you guys do it

I seem to have the opposite problem. I spawn, have no idea what im doing (just got the game) run to where everyone else is, start shooting at random people and get like 10 kills and repeat.
I really have no idea whats going on, how to get new guns or something, and ect.
Just pretend you don't know whats going on I guess

bailures
as they were affectionately named in ps1.
These queues on Miller are huge :(
Any news on when they release the soundtrack?

Just by playing VS HA defending Tarwich Tech plant from the NC on Woodhouse.
There are a lot more new players than I'd anticipated. They just kept running around that corner towards the vehicle bay without realising they can't get through. For ages. While we shot from the balcony you can just make out.

All of the weapons are balanced, some are better in other areas but worse in others, there is no god tier weapon (that I have seen.)
Spent from 11:30PM last night to 1:00AM today killing ding dong Vanu and gnu cunnilingus.
Needs prone. I hate being on a massive hill and having to toggle crouch.
I wouldn't mind if Infiltrator could go prone. All other classes: pls no
I wouldn't mind if Infiltrator could go prone. All other classes: pls no
Yes infiltrator only
So whats the catch with the weapon trials?
They really need to fix the pop in of characters, I was driving my tank through my front lines when suddenly like twenty of my guys just suddenly appear in front of me.
How about no one because it's a terrible feature that adds nothing and slows down gameplay and just looks silly with people dolphin diving.

I'm not saying dolphin diving. I'm saying a transition from crouched to prone.
I'm getting a ton of kills both on foot and in the air, compared to the beta at least. all that fresh meat is delicious
600 man queue on Miller.
Holy shit. Glad they're getting more servers up shortly.

After all the time I've spent playing Bad Company 2 vs. Battlefield 3, I must say I like shooters much more without prone.

It's just not that kind of game.
im not really sure whats going on, we have a base and it looks secure except theres like 1 spawn point in the middle being held by an enemy faction, how do you clear the spawn point so that they cant keep reappearing there
only saw this happening on isamir, happened multiple times in different areas
if on biolabs and such they have various smaller bases around them
if the enemy holds just one base holding a teleporter they will also hold the spawn room connected to the teleporter

Prones only fun with a cheap instakill weapon so you can hide in some obscure corner of a map and 1-shot people and cause rage. It's boring and just makes combat a game of "Where's Waldo?" for both sides since the second you kill someone they're just gonna crawl around the map trying not to get sniped afterwards.

It's all about what kind of shooter you have, and what gameplay mechanics are used. Games like Counter-Strike and Quake would gain nothing from prone due to the fast paced twitch fire nature of the games and the small, close-quarters maps. But PS2 is a bit of everything in terms of pacing, depending on what environment you're in and what class you're playing as. Indoors as a Light Assault, prone would be useless if not detrimental to your survival. But outdoors as an Infiltrator, far away from the front lines it would be useful. You're obviously not going to be running around that much when you're that far away, so sacrifice mobility and speed for accuracy and a lower profile. Infiltrator even revolves around that concept: long range accuracy with a low profile.
Man when's Helios gonna be back up?

Its bad for the gameplay.
It's bad in battlefield, it'll be equally bad in this.
