Planetside 2 Thread v2 - Beta floodgates open GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY - Games

How would I go about joining a communicative squad? Really loving Planetside 2, and would be great if I had a vocal squad that I could do stuff with. [editline]21st November 2012[/editline] Also someone who can show me the ropes. Right now, I'm getting into battle and fighting, but I have no idea if I'm attacking or defending or what. I just hunt down men.

Well, the 2670 SC i had left magically disappeared :C

I know the Prowler gets a lot of shit for being the worst MBT, but I've sort of fallen in love with it. Just have to use the two gun system to bracket in shots really easy, and abuse it's speed. Probably going to switch from NC to TR here soon, NC got kind of stale after the beta :v:

I hope the player numbers stay this high, it's impossible not to rack up points if you know how to flank or put down a turret, haven't done a soft cap yet

why did they make the flash sight cone even smaller? hell, why not just have 360 degrees

Not sure, but that's what I think. It doesn't make much sense paying 50 cents every time you buy a tank to paint it.

Learned the hard way.

The 20frames is unbearable and I still manage to enjoy it to some extent, goddamnit Soe give me optimization.

Well avoiding stuff on high it get 20-40, fighting on retarded mode I get 1-5, and at that level I can't make out enemies at 20 feet [editline]21st November 2012[/editline] I was going to try fighting on high but it crashed as I was loading to spawn around my squad :v:

Right, something is seriously wrong with my game every time I click on settings it takes me immediately to the graphics controls and doesn't give me the option to select absolutely anything else, i.e; Gameplay, General, Keybindings, etc also my menu is all fucked. You need to be ingame on a server to access the other options. It's silly, I know.

So if I'm getting G37 messages and I'm EU, do I have to download the EU client or should I use the NA workaround.

Just keep trying to reconnect, you'll eventually get in.

you guys are whining about the game being unoptimized on release. you guys obviously never played in the tech test.

Australian server (Briggs) still down, and @j_smedley just tweets "issues" with it. It was fine in the beta, and it's crapped out now. You make me sad Sony.
