Can somebody recommend a good balanced server (I.E no faction is just getting stomped on constantly) please? I want to make another character only I don't want to go through all the trouble just to find out I picked a relatively shitty server.

for a period of 2 weeks in the beta the game ran smooth as silk on all high on my 580 and i7 920. Now it runs at 30 fps on medium, again. woe is me

We had somebody with rocket pods try and suicide into the building to take it out. and by time it got destroyed we basically gave up. Seriously it was in such a great spot and was pretty much the only reason we could have held out for so long.

So if I buy an item with station cash and delete the character that had that item, what happens? Will the item transfer to any other character I make that has that faction or will I lose those items all together?

It's a really shitty business model, but the devs don't seem to be willing to change it.

Do I get anything for playing in the closed beta?

Definitely sticking with TR now. Joined a random public squad, stomped shit, got enough people in for 2.5 squads, took biolabs all day, got around 60 certs, lovely. Founded and outfit with those guys too, PS2 is great :v:

Playing as NC, one guy just drove a fully loaded sunderer to an enemy base with generators on It took him three tries to get through the shields for us to finally blow up, what a team

I just started playing today! Only got to put in about an hour, but it was a blast. I joined the New Conglamerate, but I'm thinking about switching to the Terran Republic. I'm all about superfast machine guns and stuff, which sounds like TR territory from the wiki description. I'm still a bit flabbergasted about how to capture objectives and whatnot, so I'm basically just killing stuff and hoping my teammates know what the deal is.

Had a TR guy ask, some Vanu started talking about needing an ancient relic from the northern caves, followed by TR dudes talking about how we're lying and you really need to find a flux capacitor.
