What software did you use? I'm barely getting 35-40 fps so I fear that recording will just make it less enjoyable to play.
Im recording with fraps at 100 fps.
Im recording with fraps at 100 fps.
Beast PC?
It seems low is fixed, so if you're not using it, try it. Also renderquality 85 or 50 even seems to give a boost as well. Also, if you're bottlenecked by the CPU, and you have nvidia, you can set 'prepared frames' to 1, that should free up some CPU cycles.
-snip- Doesnt work, thanks anyway though.
Do all ships have flares? How do I activate them? I'm starting to get locked a lot -_-
Do all ships have flares? How do I activate them? I'm starting to get locked a lot -_-
gotta buy them with cert points, then equip them
for some reason my reflex sight and my reflex x2 are pitch black and when I aim down them the reticule is black too ;_;

They need to fix spawn killing.. Was AFK because I had to go to the bathroom, came back and saw it was NC area. NC infantry outside so I stayed inside the spawn. Oh well, 6-7 spawn kills later lots of NC started appearing and I got killed very fast after that.

Nothing is forcing them to spawn there.
It's legitimate yes but usually in PS1 the spawn rooms had a pain field so you couldn't just camp in a spawn room killing everyone when they aren't looking.

And in ps1 you only spawned in your pajamas, in PS2 you can just choose a max unit on your next spawn.
Just applied for the beta since I've heard good things about it I need more massively multiplayer shooters in my life
Problem is, tanks aren't good enough currently to warrant dropping. If they buff them a shitton then I'm looking forward to lodestar drops
I'm pretty sure they wanted to make it a vehicle producer, rather than a vehicle dropper.
I'm pretty sure they wanted to make it a vehicle producer, rather than a vehicle dropper.
Now that could be interesting. Maybe not MBTs.
Do all ships have flares? How do I activate them? Also, a bit of Mosquito gameplay: Just flying over huge battles and taking it in makes this game worth playing.
Not at all hyped for Planetside 2 at first. NDA gets dropped, gameplay videos start pouring in,. Holyshitwant.
anyone else notice that you can use 2 attachments in the utility area at once?
I hope it's supposed to be like that, finally i can be ~pr0 TR 0per4t0r~
All the hype you needed was that they're planning to deliver a solid FPS on a massive scale. And they succeeded. Even if it still is rough as hell. Which along with certs represent sights, ammo, rail and barrel. They just were not built in yet.
Not at all hyped for Planetside 2 at first. NDA gets dropped, gameplay videos start pouring in,. Holyshitwant.
When you get in, find a good group of people to play with. It makes the experience 10 times better.
I'm a big Planetside fan so I would have played it anyway, but I was surprised at how good the movement and gunplay is. I expected it to be lower quality as a sacrifice for the bigger battles but it feels just as good as any other AAA shooter. And they are actively increasing the responsiveness as well.

I didn't really enjoy bf3 as infantry and wasn't very good at it, but loved being a tank. I now find my self spending 90% of my time on foot. Just because its so awesome to run through all the shit, explosions and tracer fire racking up kill streaks.
Has anyone got a good joystick setup? What controls to what? I'm having problems. It's a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.
finally getting off my guild wars binge to try out the ps2 beta, any TR on west want to roll out??

Planned on being in a Lightning as much as possible, then I started fighting dudes as Light Assault. All I want to do now. Too bad I feel useless to my team as LA though :(
Spent 50 Cert points on Claymores only to find out they're not available for purchase. Well mad. On another note, I feel utterly useless as a pilot in a Mosquito, my gun is somehow both too accurate and too inaccurate to reliably hit moving infantry with (hence why I bought the M14 Needler which has a much wider spread to aid in hitting infantry on the move, but it does almost no damage whatsoever) and as soon as a Reaver or Scythe comes my way it's all over, I can fly fairly well, but the Reaver hits like a truck and while the Scythe is slower, it's so much more maneuverable that they outflank me at nearly every turn. To be fair though, I have great difficulty keeping track of where they go during our wild turns and flips and to top it all off, most people bail out before they're shot down. Being able to bail out mid-flight should be a certification so that you can't just jump out and deprive someone of a kill if they managed to out-pilot you. Not to mention that any crashes that happen within 15 seconds of you damaging a plane should result in either a credit for the destruction of the enemy plane, or at the very least an assist.
nvm got it
Biolabs are fun to fight in.
who the fuck thought slip'n'slide flashes would be fun to drive [editline]31st August 2012[/editline] i also see why no one plays engineer, i keep getting run over while i try to repair vehicles
Flipping over the handlebars and exploding was funny. The first time it happened. Not every fucking time I tried to drive it.
oh my god inverting flight controls inverts turret controls too
