My friend who's really good with computers says I might be good with that. He says my CPU is at least a dual core.
Have no idea if that's good or bad but he said it was and since he's my only source for complicated computer stuff I believe him.
I would think that you would be better off with that card and a quad core

AKA Don't buy digital camo.
so what you are saying is, 50 hours of gameplay for a single weapon, or I buy it with $$?
I don't know about that man, that sounds pretty pay 2 win
Just gunna quote this from League Of Legend's forum.
Over 45 hours
I had to really search to find average game time, since that's the one thing no one has really brought up in the talk about how costly those champs are. I found one site that had something about it - http://www.lolbase.net/champions (it's an old site that only has data from the olaf patch and before, but I don't imagine average game time has changed too dramatically since then) and used 36 mins as the average game time. Using riot's ip formula, (summoner's rift) that makes average win worth 101.232 ip and average loss is 66.58 ip. Assuming a 50/50 win/loss rate, that makes average ip per game 83.906.
That means that:
Average # of games needed:
Over 75
Average time in-game:
Over 45 hours
Not going to comment on it, but feel free to discuss.
EDIT: whoops, forgot first win of the day. Let's say you want the ip in 2 weeks, and manage to get 10 bonuses. that means you need 4800 ip from the regular system:
~57 games, 34 hours
Dunno man, those champions seem pretty pay to win.
And if you're going to say "But kenji! the free win of the day bonus doesn't translate into planetside!"
It Does. Squad leader exp implant.
The NC Alpha Squad camo (and all of their blue camos) looks ridiculous.
It's like they're wearing pajamas or some shit.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/ON6WH.jpg[/t][t]http://puu.sh/1sVPw[/t]
the similarity is uncanny
Nothing tops how ridiculous Vanu camo is, I can't stop laughing when I see a guy who looks like he's wearing leopard print.
so i started playing and i dropped 10 bucks to buy like what seemed to be the best gun for light assault (its semi auto does lots of damage and good accuracy little recoil and fast reload etc w/e). My issue isn't anything but the fact of certain guys just lagging teleporting around and shit.
Besides that had this good what i'd consider a battlefield moment where we were ontop of this wall after assaulting the entrance of there base and the enemy was behind pillars along the wall and so were we and had like a 10 minute shoot out of both of us trying to move up and take the wall.

I don't see what your point is, we are talking about this game, not league of legends.
And even in LoL the champion aren't direct upgrades, they are different characters, and there are free ones every week. An expensive champion is not "better" than a cheap champion.
From what he said there are direct upgrades in this game, and you must grind a lot or pay to get them.

you clearly have no idea how riot balances
so what you are saying is, 50 hours of gameplay for a single weapon, or I buy it with $$?

Its not really 50 hours of gameplay
Its more like, a weeks worth of gameplay if you play 2-3 hours every night, so closer to 10-15. With a booster/membership its way faster.
And this is if you want a specific high end weapon, the most expensive shit you can buy in the game. Most of the stuff doesn't cost 1000 certs, there's tons of class certifications you can get that aren't weapons at all (and are actually, rather more impactful than just getting a weapon change). You don't really -need- a new weapon every week in ps2. if you play just one or two classes, in a month of regular play you could afford all the weapons you'd ever want or need for those classes. Weapons that for the most part aren't upgrades at all, they just are different roles (so you can't even really *win*)

Guess my "sunderer" is too big for poor little amp stations "elevator systems" (Aka shitstuck)
I feel bad about this game, NC is totally underpopulated while TR gets swarmed with dumbfucks and just takes every point due to a too high amount of players.
The devs should lock down TR until everything's balanced again.
Please rise for the national anthem of Vanu Sovereignty

lmao
lmao
To be honest, for a brief moment(like 20 minutes), TR on miller had 40% of the players before it went back to 33% :v:

Just yesterday I noticed that you can squeeze a lightning tank to the capture area. Priceless.

I'm TR and I'm okay with this.

That's enough PS2 for one night.
Ok, so I played back in the first wave of CB when it was really glitchy and I could never get into any serious teamwork. What empires are you all playing as, and is it worth getting back into?
Got 4 certs in half an hour.
awesome
How long are the servers down for, and why?
Got 4 certs in half an hour.
awesome
that's really slow.
Got 4 certs in half an hour.

Uh
that's extremely slow
I get like 30 an hour when I'm doing well
that's really slow.
Really?
well shit
Guess I'm really bad then. oh well.
Installing a hotfix, apparently. Gonna be down for about an hour. Link
awww yeeeaaaah I got the boost upgrade for the flash again it's time to do some rad stunts and explode alot
It seems like medic is the best class for grinding certification points. Just follow the herd around and revive everybody all day.
Also, I flippin' love the Liberator. What a blast, that ship is! I got to be the belly-gunner on a Liberator that had been upgraded with some kind of rockin' cool cannon instead of the miniguns, and I just decimated every tank we came across. Must've bagged fifteen before we got caught!
Really?

are you just walking around for long times? the way to gain certs is to kill shit.

Is it bad that I'm terran, but I usually get a lightning instead of the MBT? It's just so fast and gets mad hangtime on ramps :v:
Its not really 50 hours of gameplay

That wouldn't even fly with what you consider to be normal cert gain.
If you play actively, you can easily net 20~ certs per hour of play (100 XP for each kill, 1000xp for a facility capture, plus all the assists, etc etc). If you play partiuclarly good, 30-40 is certainly possible depending on what you are doing. You also get up to 16-ish certs offline per day, though you need to log in at least once every 24 hours to still get offline certs.
7 days a week with a 16 cert passive gain is 112, meaning you need to play for 888, which at 40 certs an hour is 22 hours and 12 minutes, and at 20 certs an hour is 44 hours and 24 minutes. That's a lot more than 10-15 hours.

I'm amazed there's no population imbalance lock. It's fucking weird seeing 50% of a continent be red guys.

Yes, the big ass 150mm cannon is a blast to play with.

It really was. We did so well that I joined his squad, and just as we were about to go up again, some griefer rammed us with a truck and blew up our ride. :[
