Planetside 2 Thread v2 - Beta floodgates open GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY - Games

guys I just realised a good bro-tip if you want camo for each cont but don't want to splash lots of money. Wait until you've unlocked all three custom loadout saves. BR15 I think and then name each loadout as Desert, Snow, Temperate or what ever. You can use the 50 SC one use camos on each loadout and then simply switch loadout save without having to replace camo. So rather than spending 3000 SC getting three complete camo sets, it only costs 300. Quite the save. PlanetLag 2. I want to play it but Jezusie Miłosierny I can't. Every battle is one huge lagfest. Where is shown my ping on server? And is there any way to find where is each server placed (precisely, not just "EU"/"USA")?

Guys, I'm having huge difficulties finding battles and finding where I need to be. I'll spawn in whatever location is on the menu, and I'll have a quick look-see at the minimap, but the minimap is far too small, so I can't really see which direction the enemies are in. I end up mindlessly walking around trying to find a battle, only to commit suicide to get respawned at a base. So yeah, any tips for finding out where good battles are? I was fuming last night, because I was fighting with a herd and I was racking in so many kills, then I die and respawn and it put me somewhere I didn't know. I couldn't find my herd again after that. Sad times.

Just spawn in places that are on the borders, they're almost always certain to have a big fight going on.

Sad times.[/QUOTE] Press p and join a squad that has lets say 8 or more people in it. See if they got a waypoint set, it's a green arrowish thing in the map, and just go there. Sad times.[/QUOTE] Don't worry, your awareness of the surroundings will increase over time and you'll always know where you are. Just needs more practicing.

Thanks for the advice, guys. Also, is it worth me getting Membership (I was thinking of getting the Month), seeing as I'm absolutely loving this game right now and I can afford the month fee?

I bought a gun just cause i thought i could p2w for a bit but it turns out yeah i have this kick ass gun that apparently does all this damage, but the enemy had more certs built up into there armor and w/e else so they could take all 6 shots from my awesome gun and still be walking around. More certs = more armor = godlike

Tab over to it, check the box next to Enemy Activity, look for a big orange or red blinking hex, and zoom in to see if any of your buddies are near there. Then go back to the deployment map, and you know where the fight is.

I got +50% implant and membership so capturing a big base is 1750 xp. Feels good man.

I want to try out TR quite a bit but im reluctant as ive already dropped quite a lot of SC on my VS character. Pls SOE make cosmetics account bound.

got up to 29k exp per hour using a anti-infantry mag against a TR zerg. Was awesome. 105 kills until I got weapon lock and suicide boosted into them.

Does anyone know when SOE is doing a sonybux cash sale again? I was expecting one for Black Friday but there was nothing. Also I really want membership. All you guys arguing about how many certs you make per hour need to take into account whether they've got the boosters and/or membership.

I just use the 50% booster currently.

idk if they boosted it for release or not but i made 100 certs easy as pie yesterday. Which is a huge difference from beta, 100 was a distant dream, even more so considering how i'd impatiently buy up cheaper stuff.

I gained rank a lot faster too, i'm p much where I was at rank wise in a day compared to the 2 weeks it took me during beta.
