If warpgates can't be destroyed or captured, how can you capture a continent to get the bonus?

Debating wither or not to just get the membership. Problem is I'm broke as fuck considering I got about $300 to my name after my credit card bills, paycheck, and liscence plate fees due at the end of this week :( And that's not even including rent (though I get another paycheck before then which'll cover that) I just feel like it'd be a waste to sign up for month-by-month when if you get a multi-month its not only cheaper, but you also get a better XP rate. It doesn't help that the two smaller empires always seem to turn on each other rather than attacking the larger albeit smaller total pop empire.

I think they should add some sort of Vehicle garage to warp gates, and maybe tech plants. Tech plants because you need to have one in order to spawn MBTs. All changes in the garage cost resources, the amount depending on what vehicle you have and what you're changing. While switching out what magnitude of scope you have on your turret would only cost, 20 mech resources for instance, changing main guns could cost 100, or 150, plus all attachments you'd add to it. If having this in a tech plant would be OP you could move it into a vulnerable area like the outer courtyard, have some sort of easily destroyable generator that would be taken immediately once the base was under attack, or leave it in the warp gate. That way, people couldn't go crazy, switching loadouts several times during a battle. Of course it doesn't have to work this way, but I think there should be SOME method to change up vehicles.

What are the bonuses of having a Membership? As far as I can tell, the bonus XP is pointless, because having a high battle rank doesn't really do much, seeing as there are no level restrictions on weapons and stuff (right?).

What? XP isn't just to go towards your battlerank, XP is how you mainly earn certs. For every 250 experience you get you earn one cert.
