So I just figured out you can equip both a silencer AND a laser dot at the same time. I thought because they're both in the same slot you can only choose one, but no. Now I can be a bit more stealthy with LA.

I hope they leave it like that, because suppressor doesn't interfere with laser dot in any way, and besides, they have multiple attachments in each weapon attachment category, so I guess having 2 sights or 2 lasers would rightly be weird.

So does anyone know how the mystical "cert points" work? How are they gained? Is it X per Y minutes?

You gain 5 per battle rank, 1 or 2 per base capture/defence, and I think like one per hour offline or something.

Just pick a base to attack/defend and stick with it. Too many people have ADD and change their objective every 2 minutes.
"Oh no, the enemy has taken this facility on the other side of the map! They need my help!"
"Oh never mind, we've retaken it. Oh no! The enemy has taken the facility I was just at! I must help!"

It takes about a week of casual play to unlock A2AM (12500 Auraxium)
It takes two to three days of play to get 100 cert points
From a balance standpoint it's fair, the reason it seems unbalanced is because they unlocked A2AM before flares, so a lot more people have the missiles than the flares.

+90 aux, god fuck, no wonder some people have enough aux to buy stuff. Most I ever got that I remember was +70 and that wasn't long enough anyway.

my flash must think it's spiderman, because whenever i so much as graze a wall, it tries to fucking wall ride
makes navigating buildings in a flash stupidly challenging and quite literally drives me up the wall

How to get 50+ fps in Planetside 2.
Its going to cost you: $555 USD

EVGA 570 GTX Super Clocked Edition
8 Gigs of DDR3
Now lets talk about gfx cards, My old 260 GTX can handle this game no problem @ 1440x900. Now if you are not playing on a 1080p Monitor (1920x1080) and plan not to get one i highly suggest you get something lower than the 570( it cost 271 USD just for the super clocked edition) I would recommend a card that has a high memory inference for example the 260 GTX is a 440-bit. This is how fast the card dumps pixels on to the screen. If you are going to get a older card, remember/think how your resolution of the monitor is going to effect the card. Also you don't need a SSD to impact performance, im using a Seagate from 2008 and its writes/reads slower than my grandma's writing so you will be ok. You can but not as much as a gfx card or a processor. Then again I could be talking out my own ass.

I went from unplayable to 30 fps (playable) in huge battles and 60-100+ in calm areas on full high last update.
I think rather than spending dicktons of money you should probably just wait until further optimization. If it still runs like ass on release then maybe consider something like that.
