until they up the view distance i'm not going to bother flying any vehicles. you're forced to fly way too low to the ground to see any enemy ground vehicles, and you're forced to blindly go into enemy territory not knowing if there's 1-2 aircrafts flying around, or 30-40 until it's too late to turn back. it's fucking stupid. if my rig has the ability to run at 60fps with massive view distance, LET ME. a majority of my deaths when flying a mosquito are because i go into an area assuming there's only a few aircrafts then it turns out there's 10 and i just get swarmed before i can do anything. it's moronic, i don't understand why they didn't think of this in their extensively-useless beta testing EDIT: Infantry draw distance is even worse, too. I literally have to be 50m above infantry in my mosquito till i can see them, and by that time i have 3 of them locking on to me with AA rockets.
My IGN is Sparklie. I'd add you but sadly I'm getting a GAME ERROR G37
It worked anyway.
Does anyone know how to stop the world flickering in and out, it's really fucking irritating.
Does anyone know how to stop the world flickering in and out, it's really fucking irritating.
hope they patch it. another example of why this wasn't ready for release
https://lp.soe.com/ps2/live/?t=42980 Use this if you can't run the LaunchPad for whatever reason. For me it froze up whenever I started it and made me BSOD soon after. Great launcher.
I was part of the NC platoon that took Esamir on Mattherson not that long ago. We literally took half the cont in 15 minutes, finishing up NC ownership of the place just before the server went down. Was brilliant.
This game is like Battlefield with 10 FPS
Flak, who are you on Mattherson?

TR deserves it. [SUP]Overpopulated kids. Stop banging so much.[/SUP]
because it feels lame as fuck to constantly be swapping around and be at the mercy of gear terminals and sunderers. fuck the class system btw.
You can also switch classes every time you spawn. Or redeploy for that matter. What exactly is wrong with that? In fact, it's better than most since you can change classes at any point without having to die.
they totally need to have some kind of access to the vehicle terminal while you're in a vehicle so you can refit it its so painful to buy upgrades and then spawn a vehicle, forgetting to equip them

Was anybody on mallory when everything just bugged out about a day ago? Tanks didn't die, but rather stayed as wrecks you could drive, same with all the air vehicles. Drop pods also didn't disappear, but were registered as vehicles that just carried on making an awful sound. Grenades didnt explode either, and the wrecks that were actually there in the beginning just didnt go away Game mode of the year all years
You can also switch classes every time you spawn. Or redeploy for that matter. What exactly is wrong with that? Friendlies going down? Switch to medic. Team making an armoured push? Switch to Engineer.
My only issue is spending certs with a class just to go roll another, if I spend points on one class I wanna main it.
I just put certs on the most useful things. Like I play medic and engi the most so i've upgraded the repair tool and the heal tool so i can res maxes and heal faster. You definetly shouldn't tie yourself to a single class so you can be the most useful to your team by playing the class it needs. Most of my certs go to vehicles anyways.
I tried that backwards flying that was mentioned on one of the yt tutorials. [t]http://goo.gl/x0IuQ[/t] good thing I didn't explode, for some reason.
Gather around chill'un. It be storytime. After many bad past experiences, I basically ignore that the Infil class exists, but we were losing the base I was in and I saw an opportunity. I cloaked and sprinted away up the mountain alongside the base. The bane of the Driver-Engineer à la damaged tank is a bastard sniper popping their head as they sit there supergluing their tank. Just now, I was that guy. Rather than running back out into the big open field to get his head popped again, this guy had vengeance in mind. He donned his jetpack and shotgun and jetted up into the cliffs to find me. Merrily clambering over the rocks invisible was I, when hark, a shotgun shell doth graze mine asscheeks. Strangely, the furious TR tanker didn't follow up with a second round, and allowed his face to become one with the disco. Beamers aren't half bad. The angry, tortured man didn't want to give me another chance to kill him, and sprinted to his tank before I had a chance to climb over the broken rocks to get an angle on him. Furiously charging around in his Prowler he came across an ally of mine, another VS infiltrator. The poor guy didn't stand a chance. It seems he remembered my name, and he didn't stop patrolling around for a few minutes. No vengeance for him though, Smedley restarted the server. There was something very funny that happened in the 2 mins before the server restart, but that can be for another time. This is already a wall of text where it probably shouldn't be.
What is the fastes way to get certs?
What is the fastes way to get certs?
By not sitting around circlejerking at the warpgate.
By not sitting around circlejerking at the warpgate.
You don't say! o.O
I don't know what else to say. Basically anything you do will earn you certs, and there isn't really one definite "get certs quick" scheme. Go kill stuff, heal, revive, repair, capture, defend, anything.
just forget about certs and go do your own thing, if you're patient then by the time you check back you'll have a fair amount
What is the fastes way to get certs?
Being a medic seems decent, at least on NC you get a good gun and can kill people with it for when you're not healing and reviving everyone.
Oh my god this game is so much fun.
LA-80 rifle of the year all years.
Every day it's the same. Log in cap a couple bases gain some certs which is just addicting. Then log out. If I had some good battles then cool, but I don't have much to show for it besides certs. And really this game is just so simple. It's just point-n-shoot, spot, point-n-shoot, cap that objective, move on to next base, oh no we've lost territory we've been cut off. Rinse and repeat. Gun play is basic and all the unlocks just aren't worth saving for. They are just slight variants of the same gun with different stats and a slightly different artwork. Just really shallow stuff all-round. Battles are rarely well balanced and much fun. You're either steamrolling over the enemy or they are steamrolling over you. Sometimes you get an even fight which is the most fun I've had in the game, but those times are quite rare. Also joining an Outfit doesn't improve your chances much. If the enemy have more numbers any kind of organization is thwarted by the endless waves of tanks and air spam. Maybe I'm just growing tired of FPS games. I think I need to go back to an RPG for a while where I might need to actually use my brain and be compelled by a story or some deep leveling system. I'm getting a headache just by thinking about how much time I've wasted on this dull game.
they totally need to have some kind of access to the vehicle terminal while you're in a vehicle so you can refit it its so painful to buy upgrades and then spawn a vehicle, forgetting to equip them
I guess but the devs said that is exactly what they don't want people to do :V
I can't breathe, I think two of my passengers liked each other way too much. [sp]well there were two before I recorded.[/sp] also is there a way to improve the quality of the ingame recorder? It was much better in Beta. [editline]26th November 2012[/editline]
We detected your video may be shaky. Would you like us to stabilize it?
Even Youtube thinks it's to shaky.
