The TR did destroy one of their own ships when they were still stranded, which included the beloved expedition leader and hundreds of innocent civillians, just to get supreme control over the fleet. They pinned it on the NC afterwards to get away with it.

Freedom is nice and all, but you don't really need it when you have guns that shoot fucking plasma

Super soakers that shoot hot water

Must be quite hot when it can melt through NC armor and kill them.
Sometimes when you wanna take a break from killing all the Xenophile VS and the Republic dogs of the TR, driving deep into enemy territory in a flash with your lights off and jetpacking to the highest point of a tree and watching the pretty explosions and planes flying in the distance can be relaxing. Bonus points if the tree is surrounded by unsuspecting enemies stationed there. More bonus points if you're spotting the enemies while they look for the sound of your voice.
Also why am I finding myself with more certs whenever I log in than when I log out? Have I won the Planetside 2 Gods' affection or is it an incentive to play the game more?
make predator noises
Can't update, launcher crashes halfway through without any notice.

there is passive Cert gain, 16 certs over 24 hours, it resets when you log in.
I really hate how the game shuts off when you are afk for too long instead of just logging out to the character selection, it's really annoying.
I can't be the only one who sees the TR as the Brotherhood of Nod stranded on an alien planet fighting with GDI (nc) who attempted to escape to this world to escape tiberium on earth and the Vanu are just original colonists or defecters from both factions to adapt scrin technology to form a new begninning/rebirth for mankind (so basically, just like Nod, except instead of worshipping a poisonus rock they worship scrin tech) or something
this is p exaggerated. the draw distance can be shitty when you're coming down from high up but otherwise i've never been caught in the middle of a swarm of fighters. And just the other day I was hovering probably over a forward base covered in infantry which were not much more than dots and killing a bunch of them with a stock scythe.
This isn't at all exaggerated. if you're an infantry sitting on the ground running around, yeah draw distance is fine. but did you play the beta at all? the draw distance in the beta was MUCH greater, it was actually acceptable. but they kept removing it with patches and shortening it to the point it is now, which is probably half, if not more than half of what it use to be. they did that for performance, yet they never put the option to extend it to what it use to be back in to the game. if i'm flying 200-300 meters above the ground and there's a tank like 400 meters away from that i can't see it. that's REALLY not that far at all.
the draw distance gets worse too as more enemies are in an area, it "dynamically changes" to attempt to keep your performance up. except my performance wouldn't drop anyways if the draw distance was twice that and there were that many enemies in the area, which is why it should just give me the option to up my draw distance if my computer can handle it.
so I was redeploying somewhere, with a magical space pod and I land in a group of Vanu dudes, thinking cool, finally landed somewhere I wont be instantly murdered and theres a nice squad here of my peeps. I help them shoot some tanks, blow up some shit and generally be pretty surprized I landed in a nice, coherent group of people.
So I run around and shoot and blow stuff up
and I'm p sure I didn't realize I was actually not playing Vanu anymore and I was meant to shoot them till atleast 10-15 min later

It just disconnects me normally.
Sounds like a bug.

What happened after that?
Stop crying, you obviously edited your UserOptions.ini, that's the only way to get such a short draw distance of 300 meters, the default draw distance is a ridiculously high number, far beyond 1500 meters.
Enemies magically disappearing at far away distances is a bug.
"999999.000000" is what the draw distance is set to in my .ini file. there's no excuse for shit which should have been fixed in beta like this, the game was hardly ready for release when a majority of the beta players point out these problems yet they don't bother fixing them. the draw distance is complete ass, as i said it "dynamically changes" (which is why that value is so fucking stupid in the .ini file) to accommodate for performance, yet it doesn't actually bother seeing if your computer could actually handle that amount of players on screen.

a good example of draw distance being "dynamically changed" to an incredibly short distance because there's an excess of players in an area.
It's just a bug chill out.
Had this problem with the tech test.

Default render distance is -1, it renders as much as your computer possibly can.
i crash all the time, but my friends with better computers don't
could having insufficient hardware requirements cause crashing?
It's a bug that should be fixed, once again.
The game is released, this is a pretty bad bug that should have been squashed in the beta, but it makes killing ground units a pain in the ass from a distance.
I find it fun that I keep crashing now when it's released, but had no such problems at all in the beta.
NC weapons OP.
Think I'll find some parts for my computer and perhaps order it before this week is over.
Want to play this game on everything maxed and get 60 FPS.
By parts I mean actually ordering a whole new computer. Everything new. This four year old beast needs a change. Too weak now.

No game is bug free and release.
Why would this be any different? They did squash it, but now its back, along with the free epilepsy test bug.
The only thing that is worse than bugs, is listening to insufferably people whine about said bugs constantly.
There was months of beta testing. This game is hardly even release worthy. It's buggy, unoptimized and crashes constantly. Of course no game is going to be perfect, but some things are just flat out broken.
