Though it seems to me that on the East Coast servers the VS is the underdog most of the time, or own the least amount of areas

So yesterday I was on EU1 as VS and we defended Zurvan for 4 Hours until we broke out of the siege with a massive tank assault, we had at least 70 VS against fuck knows how many TR. it was literally this but everyone was purple and had laser guns. They should just rename the VS to MAX

I usually fly a Reaver in this game and even I find the A2A missiles very irritating, I can imagine how much more annoying it would be to be a Scythe or a Mosquito. They should scrap all guided missiles from the game. It's not a modern-combat/simulator sort of game, so there's not much purpose in having them especially when the only other thing guided projectiles do is lower the skill ceiling and make dogfights considerably less fun. Luckily, the ground-to-air missiles are awful. But if they buff them up, the air aspect of the game will be essentially ruined as anyone in the air will be constantly locked-on and that's no fun at all.

I have no idea how to play this game. Most of my most recent 2 hour play session consisted of me blindly wandering around, and when I wandered into a hostile area, I got shot. I killed one person, total, and I died 16 times.

Playing NC on West 02 (picked that server randomly back then). And I have to say that the game is damn awesome. Anyway, some Funtips and Nitpicks: - c4 are REALLY useful for engineers attacking bases:[B] 1 hit from it, and a MAX goes down[/B], [I]even when it's a meter away[/I]. Tanks need 2 though. Right now I'm planning to invest my certs for more c4 slots, just for more KABOOM ANOTHER GODDAMN MAX GOES DOWN FOR GOOD, which occurs every time I try to cap a biolab/tech plant. - If you get too much lag, play support like engies or medics. You'll have plenty of exp and not look like a useless noob. - Somehow, every faction likes to backcap each other, which is a damn nuissance. Hope they get fixed as soon as possible. - NCs are reeeeeeaaaaaaalllllyyyy dumb, especially when we keeps on pushing at Zurvan WITHOUT destroying the generators first. Needless to say, it drains our resources and gives a lot of holes for the vs and tr to cap through. - Flaks are waaaaaayyyy too slow, unless you are a bad pilot. I have been scoring more airplane kills while using the 20mm cannons on the liberator than using that stationary Flaks. BTW, anyone tried the mortars? I'm planning to build a long range Galaxy artillery system (mortar on top, aa at the back, anti-inf at the sides), and I want to know more about it.

Just unlocked the Reaver unguided rockets and holy fuck, they are so overpowered, I feel bad for using them. The whole Reaver is overpowered as fuck, never got shot down by another aircraft that used the machine gun and not the A2A rockets.

Ahaahha. Two Galaxies. One to the left and one to the right. They're both trying to attract people into the galaxies by saying what they have inside the galaxies, like porn, leather seatings etc. :v:

Joined a game and a 12 man squad. We flew a galaxy into some giant base under heavy AA fire. We got close enough and the pilot shouted BAIL BAIL BAIL so we all jumped out. As soon as we did the galaxy blew up and we were in a huge firefight. Game is nuts.

I wasn't aware that going straight up and straight left from the your side of the map was really considered sneaking.

NC will always have the best tank lines.

Last night I met Korjax as we took a biolab as VS. This game is crazy how many people are in it. SUCH A SMALL WORLD.

Still waiting on it to come out so I can finally play because I still haven't had a beta key.
