also, how long would it take for the sunderer ams upgrade to really pay for itself? placing it somewhere now 900 meters from a major battle would hopefully get me loads of spawn. is it worth it though?

or should I save for the ppa on my scythe

Just make sure to buy that nano repair for your aircraft to avoid having to land and repair for too long. Helps you survive lots longer. Been dying after every 10 or so kills in my Reaver. EDIT: Also what's a good primary for the Reaver? The default's great but I was planning on buying that 250 cert one but it sounds like it's only good for air combat and not taking out ground targets.

I need to learn this game apparently. I figured a Heavy Assault with the nano shield activated and a T7-minigun would be able to kill an engineer at point blank range but apparently not.

You better have it on every character of the same faction. $0.70 for the same weapon? Might grab it for a single character.
It might be because of lag or something but the gunplay in this game is so weird. I have to lead people when shooting at them even if they're only like two feet in front of me. It's taken a lot of deaths to figure it out and it still bothers me.

why are AA cannons like turrets and skyguard bad again and A2A missiles overpowered did they not learn a goddamned thing from the beta
i downloaded the nvidia beta drivers and the Physx option is still greyed out whats the DEAL i've got a compatible card

I dont repair them anymore as engineer since an enemy infiltrator is going to come along and take it anyways making me have to blow it up to make it ours.
Purchased the upgraded Medic healer, Engi repair thingo and the ammopack/nanobot heal. Good that i can whore points better now.
What the fuck? So, I try logging into Planetside 2 and it's all "herp derp security issues you gotta reset your password" Ok, so I try and reset it and then I get "Name and password dont match!!! try again lol" which happens alot to me because i've got alot of different names/passwords for different shit and then when i supposedly get it right it tells me "lol u tried 2 many times to reset ur password today you gotta wait 24hrs now" FUCK OFF.

I can already see the point- sticking slugs on a shotgun and getting into a vantage point as an LA is an amazing way to do a crapload of damage to slow targets. I killed three MAXes in one life during a meat grinder, just casually chewing their armor up. It also doesn't seem to negatively impact point blank damage either (though I could be wrong, I wasn't really counting shots, but it seemed like three body hits per kill) and it gets headshots. That said, it's horrible up close. I don't know if it's the hipshot recoil or my machine being jittery but I couldn't drop a soul at < 1m with it. It also negates your ability to hit LA's mid-flight, between the slow ass projectile speed and lag it feels like slugs actively avoid hitting people. Can't see a use for them beyond trolling people as LA. Up close and for LA on LA stuff I'd rather have shot, at midrange I'd rather have a carbine.

I occasionally play infiltrator, and I hate the auto sniper.[/QUOTE] ghost i think, but from what ive gathered its pretty bad my friend bought it, the only time it 1 shots people is if you headshot them, otherwise after the first shot they run away. he stated also that he dislikes the fact that you have to hold your breath, which makes it fairly hard to get the second shot on a person if they don't run way.
