Also, any tips for getting into specific factions? I'd really love to be Vanu because A) my favorite color is purple, B) they look the coolest, and C) pew pew lasers. But no matter when I play them, I just suck and have no fun. I only seem to be able to do well and have fun as TR. Changing the lead to air ratio until your enemies choke is fun and all, but I'd actually like to play VS, too. (even though they may be traitorous scum)

So my crossfire HD6870 and 2500k@4.4ghz seem to not be cutting it for minimum framerate in the big fights, like 25 fps compared to the rest of the time its 85-100+ fps. Are there any beta drivers for better performance or would I be better off upping my overclock to 4.8Ghz?

The only problem I have with NC weapons right now is the cone of fire even on the first shot. I get some guy nice and lined up with my 3.4x scope on my warden and the shot doesnt even hit him half the time. A semi auto rifle like that should not have a cone of fire like that and any weapon shouldnt have a cone of fire on the first shot.

(even though they may be traitorous scum)[/QUOTE] play NC medic easiest class to play in the whole game : very very very [I]very[/I] good assault rifle, and 75 xp per revive [editline]29th November 2012[/editline] once I was reviving someone and started to get shot, got up and saw 3 guys standing in a line pew pew pew mowed them down in <1 magazines

So I still don't know a lot about the game but I'm mainly light assault on Terran using the default weapon with a 3x optic site and a fore-grip. I think C-4 is the next logical target, anyone got any suggestions? I may even go suppressor because I do a lot of solo crap

Pretty much the only reason why I'm playing Vanu is because of the Magrider and the fact that I can actually hit shit with their guns. When I was playing NC first off, I was being out shot by everything around medium range because I sucked hard at handling their guns recoil. Can't be assed to play TR, especially since Magrider > Prowler, and I don't care for their high rate of fire weapons. So pew pew lazorz, batteries, purple crab people, and floating tanks is what I'm sticking to for now.

Already running a TR medic. Pretty boss AR, though I kind of suck with aiming half the time and I also only tend to survive firefights by activating the AoE heal and healing myself during the firefight.

aiming sucks anyway, just point at their feet and the recoil will probably get you a headshot after a few shots

I've got a 2x reflex sight and the forward grip, I can handle it if I aim at their chest. most of my sucking at aiming comes from I can line up a shot well enough, but once I get into a firefight and have to be aiming side to side I kind of freak and just spray bullets every which way, meaning nothing hits

Was flying around in my liberator with this random guy for about 30 minutes, actually got pretty good points and i would switch from driver to one of the gunner seats back and forth and even got myself some kills. what i was really surprised about was the amount of points i got for having enemy aircrafts ram in to me. i would barely lose any health and i'd end up getting like 300xp+ from one guy

Do sticky grenades damage vehicles? Or am I stuck with the c-4 for anti-vehicle stuff as a engineer? Also c-4 is very useful against vehicles even as engineer, most of the time I can sneak up on vehicles and are useful for taking out other pesky things like turrets,terminals, and maxes.

The fuck, the nighthawk is still unavailable and it runs out in an hour, I'm gonna whine the fuck out of SOE if it doesn't become available while it's still on sale.

I see you have an NC on Matherson, have you come up against the 200 man TR drop pods of doom yet?

Also, in terms of vehicle weaponry, the Saron for the Magrider is a must for anti vehicle combat, and of course, it costs 1000 certs.

Especially if the Prowler is equipped with HE cannons.

How does the Cycler TRV fare compared to the default TR Med AR?

For the Mosquito, M18 Rotary or M14 whatever it was called?
