Goddamn the VS guns feel like they are made out of plastic and sprinkle people with water. I dont know if its my fps dying or the latency but half the time when I shoot someone it gives me the hit register but does no damage.

does anyone else find it just a bit odd that they limited grenades, c4, mines and other infantry consumables to infantry resources but not HA rockets. im catching more and more explosive disco as time goes on as people figure out that rockets one shot.

Got that NV optic for my bottom gun on my liberator. my gunner got 100 certs in an hour

was fending a heavy TR assault off on Amerish near some large-ish base yesterday, decided to try and go behind the TR lines to spot people for the mates after some ten minutes they noticed me and i ran to the friendly side, climbed on top of a hill and started looking for targets there's this TR heavy assault guy standing upright in the middle of an opening, totally oblivious that he basically has a giant SHOOT ME sign hovering on top of him; there are several other NC infiltrators around the area (they were guarding the nearby pass earlier before we got that hole sealed) and all seem to be aiming for him. the thing is, they're just aiming. you'd think they'd take the shot, take the kill, take the XP. but they're just aiming, like they're expecting the TR guy to do something (it's a miracle the TR HA is even breathing at this point, you'd think someone else would have noticed him already) but he's just standing there, firing his MG at some distant target in short bursts, thinking he's gonna hit anything at that range one of our infiltrator guys goes "[I]so we gonna kill this bloody retard or what?[/I]" we all zoom in and get the TR guy's head under our crosshairs. still, it's like we're waiting for something because for some ten seconds no-one pulls the trigger. the TR's MG finally runs out and he switches to his secondary. then he turns around and sees the five or seven rifle barrels pointing at his head. he starts shooting at us with his pistol, or at least tries; the nanosecond that i see the muzzleflash... BAM, right in the fucking head i took the kill, but the other infils still fire, a microsecond later; approximately five bullets hit the TR dude's dead head simulatenously. five bullets, and one purple plasma shot there's a bloody Vanu infiltrator on the other side of the pass who's been squatting there the whole time, probably to hunt both TR and NC targets one of our infils yells "[I]YOU WANT A PIECE OF US MOTHERHUMPER[/I]" and then recieves a plasma round to the face. after taking cover and laughing our asses off we whip out our secondaries and start charging at the Vanu guy. he starts to retreat, but not before shooting me in the nose mere seconds after i've gotten up from behind the rocks and after all this my game crashes just as i'm about to respawn. typical

Still perfectly playable though

Q6600 at 3.1 8gb ddr2 4870 OC'd 790/1005 60-70 frames at warpgate 20-30 frames in battle med/low settings @ 1920x1080

New rig runs it perfectly maxed out @ 1080p 3770K i7 @ 3.5 7950 3gig 16gb DDR3 60 - 80 at warpgate, 30 - 50 in heavy battle.

So is the latest AMD driver good or bad? I'm now on my stationary with the shittiest card in the world. The Radeon HD 5970. I've had tons of driver issues in the past so I was hoping someone could give me some info before I update and crash the game.

Anybody wanna join NC's Farce Battalion? It's my outfit I created, sure we have fun and all but we still work together. I prefer being Combat medic because he has an "Assault Rifle", and other stuff like I can revive downed team mates. Just ask my buds! It's on the Jaeger server though.

The ingame FPS indicator. What does the [GPU] / [CPU] mean? What's limiting the FPS?

Well I finally found this thread again after dropping out of it near the end of the beta. The game seem's a little more enjoyable now at least, it was getting kinda stale around the beta. Hopefully more stuff will be implemented soon, apparently intercontinental stuff is being worked on?

Managed to get a refund of my SC from my deleted character. Back into the breach once again!

I like how this game pushed me to buy a video card, then all the sudden it starts running perfectly once my video card is shipped. Also, do I have to get 2 abilities for the Sunderer? Like, one to deploy, and one to make it spawn point? I got the mobile spawn cert, but I can't seem to deploy. (also for your info I was running 2 5870's in crossfire, 2048x1152 max settings at 30-50fps, jumped to 40-60fps, and I just ordered a 680gtx)

That or the terrain was uneven or you were on a slope.
